@cowboy sam ...I was just trying to catch up with some of the posts and was reading about your sister and how she kept calling you and then banging on your door, so I was relieved to see your latest post that you got back in touch with her or else I was thinking that she may have ended up calling the police for a wellness check and they would be banging the heck on your door next! Cat LOL

Also, I am so worried about little Buddy...Do they let him just roam around all of the time?...That in itself is irresponsible...It also sounds like he could use a good checkup...I'm concerned about his weight loss...It would be bothering me so much if he was in my area...I would catnap him myself and get him to a vet.

I have a funny story to tell you....Several years ago, when my husband and I first married and we lived in an apartment, there was a woman who lived across the way from us and she had a couple of adult cats...The female ended up having three kittens and, when they were only just weaned from their Mom, the woman was allowing them outside...One night very late, I was awakened by an awful howling sound and it turned out to be a male cat in heat and it had one of the kittens cornered...I quickly ran out and ended up rescuing the kitten and brought it back to our apartment...Shortly after, there was a knock on my door and it was a policeman...He was very nice and he explained that the woman had called and complained that she saw me take one of her kittens, so I guess she accused me of catnapping...LOL... Anyhow, it all ended well and it was resolved by convincing her to allow me to take the three kittens in my care and the policeman suggested that she get her two adult cats spayed and neutered...My husband and I moved to our first house shortly thereafter and we all lived happily ever after..Cat LOL

@Yahooey ...Are you planning on having a blueberry muffin for your dinner too! Cat LOL

@SouthernBee ...Yummy Peaches!...I love them!...We make peach smoothies, peach crisp and just love to grab one any time and just gulp it down!...I love this time of year when the Farmers' Markets are just starting to fill up with fresh veggies and fruits!

That watch looks like a perfect choice for you...Let us know how you like it.

@loveschocolate ...Oh my gosh, I was reading about your MIL and...Whoa...someone has to step up and reign that woman in...Has she always been this intrusive or was she like this in your Ohio home also?...I've had my MIL issues also but different from yours of which I won't get into...She is no longer with us and was laid to rest and is probably now wreaking havoc elsewhere wherever that may be...lol

Congratulations on your daughter's engagement...so exciting and so much to look forward to! Cat Very Happy

A little bit ago

Dear predsHeart  and friendsHeart

I went outside to dead head a few flowers  and i found a delivery envelpe from Amazon !

My "cleopatra lepoard "wallet is almost a smidggen to long to put into my crossbody bag! I unzipped the expansion zipper on the outside  of bag it give it a bit longer length and well i can slowly zip top zipper...wallet is to wide to put in crosswide!  But it is wider and longer than i thought when i ordered it..its very nice and i will keep it.

It's   also  a darker colored black than   my crossbody purse  but i have to remember that each Anuschka bags, wallets, etc is hand painted and no 2  items will be alike.

lubs ya!Heart

@MyShadowLove : I always enjoy your post. Love your kitty story. I am more of a dog person but have had some kitty friends. My brother in law had his cat trained not to enter the kitchen. The cat would go to the kitchen door and look at BIL and he would snap his fingers and the cat would turn around and go back in the family room. I just love peaches as a grab and go snack, smoothies and any combination. One summer after one of my orthopedic surgery- we went to the local farmers market. I was in the back seat with my huge cast on my left leg that was all the way up to the top of my leg while my family was shopping, one of the farmers came to the car to talk to me. He said he had never seen such a small girl with a cast almost bigger than me. He asked what I liked most. Told him- peaches, watermelon and all kind of vegetables. He came back to the car with 3 watermelons, 2 baskets of peaches, tomatoes , okra. I thanked him but told him that my mother and BigMama would insist on paying him. He met my family and talked a long time. They tried to pay him but he didn't take any money. He asked my BigMama how much would I eat?She told him: you would be shocked to see how many vegetables this child can eat cause she can eat two plates filled up with vegetables and a huge piece of cornbread. Mama and BigMama said it was always embarrassing how people commented about me being so small. I always helped BigMama shell all the peas and butter beans. How many chapters did I post..... toooo much and toooo much information 😳😆😁❤️

@SouthernBee ..Thank you so much!...I enjoyed your post very much also and I'm laughing here because I'm picturing if you and I ever got together, we would wear each other out!...Actually, it just seems that, when posting on social media, I sometimes have a difficult time condensing what I want to say, so my posts can, at times, come out looooong...lol...In real life, it's a lot easier to just say what I need to in a more condensed and concise way for some reason.

That is such a cute story about your BIL's cat...Yes, they can be trained too somewhat but also very tricky so I wonder if, when your BIL wasn't home, if his cat had a field day in the kitchen while he was gone...lol.

Like you, I also love most vegetables, except for a few exceptions, and could easily make a meal out of a variety of roasted vegetables with warm french or italian bread...I love eggplant and often make a meal out of an eggplant casserole with a leafy green salad and warm french or italian bread...My husband needs to have meat or chicken or fish with his main meals and isn't easily satisfied with just vegetable dishes like I am...so during those times we just adjust and compromise our meals and don't necessarily always eat the same at meals...There, now I think I've covered our eating patterns and habits...lol

I love your story about the farmer...such a kind and sweet man...I have to ask you who was Big Mama that you refer to....as you mentioned your mother and Big Mama....Was she your grandmother?

You are such a sweet and giving Southern lady and it shines through in all of your posts...I hope you had a restful day and that your night is filled with sweet dreams. Heart

@MyShadowLove : We could be twins with so many things. My BIL cat died a few years ago. Just imagine if they had an indoor camera to monitor the cat when they were working.

Big Mama was  my Mother's - Mom and my grandmother. Interesting that a former church family has adopted me as their " BigMama " and some people get upset when they call me BM, but I don't mind because none of their grandmothers are living . They moved to Alabama  but I love when they call and now plan to start visiting again next month. I appreciate you for your kind words. I hope you will post more often.  Hope you have sweet dreams and a wonderful week.❤️

@SouthernBee @MyShadowLove

i like the long posts - it puts me right there as i'm reading ur stories

i can see the kind farmer with the big wicker basket full of goodies

i dont tend to write in complete sentences but rather short bursts of jibber jabber

but i dink u get the gist - and i kinda write in cat speak at times but u get me

will u share some of ur fav veg recipes?

i rarely cook eggplant cuz parm is a pain and ive done moussaka which is good

more stories from everyone pls

paint me a picture - show me ur pictures

is big momma a southern thing?

i've heard the phrase but not necessarily a grandmother

im pretty sure the cat was dancing in the kitchen when BIL left the premises

cats reign supreme even if it has to be done when no one is looking
