@dooBdoo, I sincerely hope those awful headaches go away.

With all the medical advances, you would think some brilliant minds could make headaches go away.  In the meantime, take care of yourself, as you always do.  All my best wishes.

I've heard that Magnesium helps with sleep, helps with the racing thoughts and helps to calm me down at night.  I tried it last summer, and it didn't seem to help at all so I stopped taking it.

The other night I thought I would try it again, and it helped.  I have no idea why.  For the past 2 nights, I've woken up a few times and was able to fall back to sleep again.  It doesn't leave me waking up groggy or foggy or give me nightmares.  Melatonin gives me horrible nightmares

@Bri369

So Glad it works for you, even sporadically!

I take Calcium supplements with Magnesium, the recommended equation is 1 part Magnesium : 2 parts Calcium for better absorption.

Don’t know the amount of Magnesium, how much do you take for sleep?   If I could just stop my meddlesome mind for a few hours!

@dooBdoo : Special friend was able to provide the much needed transportation with the last minute request. The Geek Squad lady very friendly and helpful. It was not me with operator error. The DVD player was defected. They had one more in the store. She opened it and made sure it was good and working. She also found a padded laptop case that was perfect for storage and moving from room to room. After leaving Best Buy we picked up another friend that we call ourselves " Three Musketeers ". Had a delicious lunch at Jason's Deli. The DVD player is the perfect size for me. Picture and sound quality great. However the headphones that I purchased- can still hear noise from the TV when DH is in the den with me. So today ordered the cheapest noise canceling headphones for $50 and hope they work. DH upset because the larger computer monitor that I ordered for him was sold out and the order canceled. The soap opera continues😳😁🤗❤️

One step forward, two steps backward.

Glad you got the DVD straighted out and had a nice lunch!
