@Bri369 @Yahooey @cowboy sam : Mom won the lamp as a district sales representative for Avon. Military related photos for DH. Reason for adding family room in 2016 because whenever anyone came over DH always took them to den and had to move stuff for someone to sit. When people were visiting- I could shut the den door and direct them to the clean family room with better sitting space.

The added height helps a little but the light is still an issue. Will look for different books. Thankfully we use a remote for the lamp and not worried about touching or moving lamp. DH will not let me declutter the area🤷‍♀️

@Yahooey @Mj12 @Bri369 @cowboy sam : Added more books up to 5 1/2 inches. Better when sitting up in the recliner , somewhat better reclining. When DH starts fishing again in April- I will have more time. Will declutter the area and move the lamp back about 6 inches. Hopefully this will help DH reading and better for me.

@Bri369 : My new job is trying to keep y'all entertained and filled with giggles and laughter because of my reality life. I am truly Blessed and love my precious DH.🤗❤️❤️
