this is a Copper Fit Angel Sleeper made with memory foam .Zippered cover can be removed and washed...but its the memory foam,etc that smells!
Someone asked me if I might be smelling the copper but to me I smell chemicals!

Thanks for you advice but I don't think memory foam can be put into a washer. I'm very sensitive to chemical smells,etc. grr!

I was suggesting running it through the dryer, if you have one.

I know you like to dry your clothes outside, but thought you might have a dryer.

My friends daughter works in a health care place  and some patients are having the same problems  as  she told her mom and me tonight...some lasting a while afterwards and  a few  take longer to get their strength back,etc.

She also said

Some doctors don't feel the need to send the   the patients to the hospital even  unless really bad breathing problems!

this old brain and eyes ..sigh misunderstood and was thinking washing machine....i need to go to bed but its too early.
I will try it tomorrow as i do have a dryer..so sorry my friend I reread and you did say dryer.

Meanwhile, us "commoners" are left on our own to just drag through it the best that we can and told that only when we start having breathing problems can we be admitted to the hospital!...Where are the groundbreaking medications and the gold standard care for us!

Whew!...There, I just needed to get this out of my system as this is something that has been difficult for me to ignore.

My heart goes out to you and I am sending loads of positive healing ((((((Hugs)))))) your way!

It sounds like you are on the back end of this thing and we all hope to see that you are finally feeling better within this coming week!...Meanwhile, get plenty of rest and fluids...chicken broth...green tea...lots of gentle, tender loving care....from all of us!

@cowboy sam ...Hi sweetie...It sounds like that Copper Angel Foam Sleeper is off-gassing and those chemical smells are not good!...How is the weather where you are?...If you can and if you have a protected outdoor area, place it outside to get a good airing for as long as possible...your pillow also...Afterwards, I would wipe them down also and sanitize them as much as possible....because I tend to be somewhat neurotic when it comes to these things...just a little!   LOL

Yes,on the gases..i have been wiping pillow down with white vinegar using a wash cloth...today it smells a tad better and i will take it outside to get some fresh cool 32 f air and sunshine o f high of 40 degrees for the rest of the day and possible overnight!
Am going to do that right now...
