Hi, lovely friends, lovely Preds.❤️ ❤️  I've been feeling down, for lotsa reasons, also a few weird happenings here dealing with my car, neighbors...  trying to communicate here and elsewhere but finding my words coming out all wrong, also seeing people not treating each other well...   Last weekend torrential rain caused a gigantic tree to fall on power poles very, very nearby.   It was in the wee hours of the morning, and I heard it...  a series of explosions.   Poles went down, each one hitting and felling the next one -- 5 of them -- like dominoes, and a large area was without electricity for about 24 hours.   Usually I can handle these things fine, but it seemed to set off bad vibes for days.   It was like the domino effect with the telephone poles affecting the energy all around, with each day seeming to knock the next day over into one mess after another after another.   Sent me down into those dreaded doldrums!   I don't like to dwell there...  need to dwell in love, in hope.   I want to thank you all for being here, for the contagious bubbling up of humor and giggly-ness, for the sweetness and kindness of your spirits.   Y'all are da bestest of all!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Some day I might have DH help me with taking a few pics and posting them here.  I am not the worst, nor the best, at what I do.  But I try hard.  The room (Pam’s Snuggery) has been painted, and DH is working to pretty up the wood floor.  It is small and won’t be fancy.  But I have so much to weed out.  It will be my craft and meditation room, surrounded by family pictures, books, and things of meaning to me.  

I am still busy trying to stock up for the fall and winter.  Nothing crazy, but I don’t think this virus is going to be controlled anytime soon.  At our ages, DH and I are really concerned.  

Take care, Lovelies.  We have had some real rain here, such a blessing.  We have been experiencing an “extreme drought.”

Your snuggery sounds delightful, @PamfromCT.  A safe, cozy haven.  The earlier posts about your art piqued my interest, too!  I'm a fan of all things in fine arts, fine crafts, visual, performing, museums, shows, creative expression.  Sometimes I think it's not as encouraged or celebrated as it should be.  I hope you do get a chance to share pix.  Take care, be safe and well.❤️

My daughter has a beautiful perfume bottle of my mom's.  A few weeks ago, she asked me to smell the bottle.  I know there hasn't been perfume in there for over 20 years.  My mom always wore Shalimar perfume, not cologne, the perfume.  My dad would give her a bottle of it every year.  When I smelled the bottle, I smelled Shalimar.  She must have filled it with the perfume and the scent lingered all these years.  I got a little teary.

@Yahooey   You are so right! She would have loved this pic. IMO, who wouldn't!  I really shouldn't say that, some people don't like horses or animals.  I certainly don't count myself in that bunch.  I love all animals!
