I think you are doing the right thing by sending/inserting notice no more Christmas  gifts   exchange

...it's sad that you have already expressed your wishes for this year  and they ignore your wishes.

I also when i buy a gift for someone i also need to shop on line...but this year i mentioned to best friend  what do we do??

I was told maybe just go for lunch instead,  and i agreed  but she said her grown daughter doen't want to go to a resturant yet!

But i understand she will go shopping in stores,etc  but why not in a restaurant?

I think lunch is a great idea.  But I understand her daughter's concerns.  Now that it's getting cooler out, outside dining is going to be harder.

@cowboy sam potato experiment was a huge flop. Too much rain in the Spring and 2020 mixed in to mess with it all - they were all gross and had to go.

@Bri369 : I don't drink a lot of coffee but still like to enjoy the cup. I changed from 2 % milk to 1%.

I love Christmas but I'm so slow doing things. I plan to cut back on decorating. If I am tired and worn out can't really enjoy everything. To me retirement should be less stress as possible and enjoying everything. The lady in this group likes gifts during the year  for each month Valentines Day Day.... etc. I am Blessed because I really don't need anything and don't have any more storage space.
