Hello all Lovelies,

Happy that all is well with all! And @Yahooey is getting that beautiful blue rooster cookware. Wonder what she will cook first? And @SouthernBee, that shirt would mean so much to you. My DH watches some football, but I am not a sports fan.

So I either read or find #2 TV. He is not keen on a few of my Brit shows, which I understand. Some space is a good thing for us, going on 54 years of marriage.

@Drythe : Some of my Hammy Downs were very nice because they came from a lady at church that was able to shop the expensive store. What I was not able to wear were the expensive shoes that were the rave back then because being handicapped and wearing braces. What was interesting- my mother and two other ladies were thrifty shoppers especially when JCP and Sears had big sales. I remember one Easter because three of us girls would be reading Bible verses in church in front of the congregation. Well the JCP sale included 3 dresses for $15 in all the beautiful pastel colors. Yet the 3 mothers purchased the same color dresses with matching ruffles panties and socks. Not me but one girl at the end of the program had to turn around and proudly "show" everyone her colorful ruffles.😀 This is the reason that I preferred the expensive- Hammy Downs because no triplets in design were included 😁😁😁
