Wonderful photos, @loveschocolate!   The first one reminds me of trips we used to take to the Galinburg area (before it became more commercialized and hectic).   We would go into the Smoky Mountain National Park and walk on some of the less-worn trails, settle down next to a stream much like the one in your photo, and quietly absorb the sounds, the scents, the incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere.    We met and became friends with the owners of a small out-of-the way jewelry and gem shop in Gatlinburg, and it was fun going to their home which was a log cabin adjacent to the park's land.   They had tales about bears... we didn't see any, but we did adopt a tiny black kitten from our friends' cat's family, and he was forever our little bear.   (sigh)  You triggered some memories.    I'm glad you had a good trip!  Thanks for sharing it with us.❤️

@loveschocolate  The pictures are gorgeous.  I love the mountains so much.

That bear doesn't look too big, but it looks like it can do a lot of damage.  They're so cute, but terrifying.

@dooBdoo @Yahooey

My neighbor called and told me trhat Saturday..one of her son's friend  would be   at my burn pile Saturday...to get some cut up  chunks of  another neighbors tree, so i thanked her for letting me know someone would be in my yard behind my house Saturday. neighbors tree

Well ,i was just outside and neighbors son..was outside(he is 19)  and he got my attention and came across the street to talk to me.

His best friend would like to"have my" 2 large tree branches"..and would cut them up  and take them when he comes Saturday to get the other cut up parts of a  neighbors tree..on my burn pile

as

he and his dad&mom would use them for firewood this winter!!!

Told Nathan..to tell his friend yes..and to thank him for meHeart
