@Bri369 @MyShadowLove

I will try to give you a brief about my b/i/l that passed away in a Chicago hospital late "Janurary".

He and my sis don't live in Chicago but he had heart problems and his doctor was  in Chicago....he had problems with his pace maker moving out of place in his chest....so went for surgery to have work done including a muscle and a skin graft...to keep pacemaker in place.

He was healing good but one day he started choking on his food....they ran tests..and he got worse,,and lungs involved  and he passed away.

Recently my sis was notified that they(the hospital) were checking to see if it was this virus that  caused his death!

They listed on death certifacation heart and kidney failure  but now wonder because they didn't know about the virus at that time.

Has anyone here shopped at Soma?...We have a small store located not far from us and, about five or so years ago, I purchased what they call their "cool nights pajama pants".....They are wonderful quality and just flow on your body....a light material...rayon and spandex...and they wash up beautifully....I don't use them for sleeping, as I can't wear a lot when sleeping....I love them as lounging pants.

So, I went online and they are having a sale on some of their items and I ordered five more pair...lovely colors...solids and patterns....Here is just a sample....not that I'm trying to enable anyone! Woman Very Happy

@cowboy sam  I'm so sorry.  It could have been the virus.  They'll let her know if he had it?

oh,,just remembered  before b/i/l passed away  he had been there for 10days ..their two sons  were there off and on  and got ill and  had to  leave the hospital  days before he died...so my sis is wondering if they had  could have gotten the virus at the hospital?

Again no one knew about the virus at the time.

i hope they will as if so it will have to be reported to health agency's there..i read in paper sometime back..they were going to check with Chicago hospitals records that might have been deaths caused from the virus before all the reporting was made to the public about the virus.

Every time I see @Preds I have to stop...give pause...and think about how lucky we are here for having her come into our lives here on the Q.

I didn't know her like many of you did.  However, whenever I see the word Preds, it reminds me of one other time I felt the same way.

It was with a Senator I knew.  I told him I didn't know him but someone as wonderful and kind as his wife was must be also as wonderful and kind because he was so lucky to have her in his life.

So....that's how I feel when I see @Preds I am reminded of someone who was kind, intelligent and so many people were so fond of her.

We need more people like her in this world of ours ..... now more than ever.

I don't think people like her come around very often....but when they do (as she did), the sweetness lingers...and hopefully lasts a long time.

Hugs to @Preds.  Also to her family and friends

@cowboy sam ...Yes, just follow their size chart...and go by your usual sizing...They are limited on many of them right now due to the sale going on...You just have to browse through them and hope that the ones you want will be available in your size...I was able to find a good selection in my size.

I'm sure they will be getting restocked in the near future as they are a very popular item.

@Yahooey ...lol...That is a perfect description of what it is like when we are going through our closets during the change of seasons!...lol

Soma has some really cute pajama shorts too!...I wear my tank tops with both shorts and lounging pants...so comfortable and non-constricting...while relaxing at home! Woman Happy

I wear my regular shorts, capris, slacks when going out...all cotton and light colors...I don't like wearing dark colors during the hot Summer months...Dark colors make me feel hotter!...I like maxi skirts also...just above the ankle...cool cotton gauze...freeing and good airflow...lol
