We've had storms all day - a lot of thunder and lightening and heavy rain.  

The sky was beautiful a little while ago.  I saw a double rainbow.

maybe a complete shut down would help? and restart?

I bought this laptop I'm using Sept 2017

after a several months in - I would peridocially get a white screen when I open the cover

I close the lid and it would revert back to my screen saver etc

more stuff started acting up - brought it back to Apple before my warranty was up

they basically changed everything except the case - cuz I had a small knick on my keyboard casement and that was gone - and a whole checklist of what was fixed.

they should have just gave me a.new one

anyway a few weeks ago - i saw a white screen again - close lid and it went away

it was happened 3 times since

I'm afraid it is happening again - 

the first time - I had to do a force quit and eventually  went to apple

bc of what's happening - can't do that, thoughts?

I have restarted the laptop hoping it would go away permanently

Good morning @Yahooey , good morning Preds and friends!  Happy Super Humid Saturday to one and all . . . 

So today's activities will be to try and comb my hair and look into something called Spin Pins as they are supposed to be fabulous at holding your hair in a bun/topknot and they don't budge all day.  Hmmmm . . . 

Culinarily speaking, as I am overrun with nicely priced roma tomatoes and iceberg lettuce, I think I am looking at a burger and salad today.  

Hope everybody's day is off to a good start!

everything was restocked and I mean restocked to the gills

still no Purell but a generic and limited qtys

Monday and Tuesday - wanna go to the supermarket one of those days and haul stuff so resting this weekend 

which is about a mile round trip pulling a cart - nice entry to me walking again

hmmm- those hair clips - don't know what those are but I loved my banana clip back in the day - I had.a body wave and clip the mane back with a poof on the top of my head

big hair - which I loved since it added height to my 5'1"

i held onto the body wave much too long as I felt so short and nekkid

Good morning...

what a storm we had  around 7pm until maybe 2am!!!..

I was going to take dog out to peepee before i went to bed  at 10pm....i opened door and saw from under street light across street from me...big sheets of rain   being blown up the street!!  and the lightning!!!!

I waited a bit and out we went..and both of us were drentched by rain..don't know if he peeded or not? but we headed back- ran   back up my steps..! 

Dog hadn't felt good yesterday..didn't want to eat,moved stiff in back legs   i kept taking him outside for small walks in my front yard...toward evening i crushed a half of cherry flavored childrens asprin ,put some peanut butter on a finger with asprine in it..and he licked it off my finger...a bit later he ate his food  and drank water!

This morning he is acting like himself again...he will be 14 years old in September..and probaby has some arthris  in his hips.....he must have felt changing weather yesterday  before   storms last night..like we do.

Weather forcast is for rain through Tuesday of next week.

Good morning Lovelies,

Hope everybody is well and getting enough sleep.  Love all the pics, ‘cause I can relate to them all.  The hair, the hair.  Don’t know if I am cray-cray, but my hair is longer than it has been in decades.  Figure if it gets long enough for a pony tail, I will at least look neat.  And if you put a big bow on it, you can look like George Washington.

Thinking of that potato crop.  I love baked stuffed potatoes, and you can add bacon.  How about BLTs?  So good.  I feel a bacon attack coming on.

Anybody venturing out?  I put on my mask, rubber gloves, and went to Michaels yesterday.  Had pictures wanted to frame forever, and the frames were half off.  Pictures galore here already.  But somebody said “Too much of a good thing is wonderful.”  It will take me a long time to do all, but the frames are here.  Anybody planning any projects around the house?

@SouthernBee has her lovely table set coming, been weeding stuff out, and such.  Call her a “Busy Bee.”  She is something!
