@dex   I've had a few meltdowns.  I was used to going out somewhere every single day. 

Now that we can go out a little bit, I get nervous and can't wait to get home.  I don't think that feeling will ever go away.

@Bri369  @dex  I feel the same. I think, once there is a vaccine, we'll all feel better. We went for a walk twice last week and it was ok, not great like I thought but..... I have to start seeing my doctors again and I Ain't Happy! I saw one of my docs today and as you said, I couldn't wait to get back home. The nurse had her mask on sometimes not always. I did mention this to the dr and he already knew about the situation. On the way home, I was about to say to my husband, "let's stop and get some food", (sick of my cooking, we hardly ever get take out but boy, am I ready for some). Immediately I thought nope, let's just go straight home.  I wanted my mask off and a shower and to feel normal. I said this before, it just feels so weird and yuchy.

I haven't had any meltdowns but some of my friends have. So sorry you had some but you're in good company. The streets around me are still empty.  I thought I'd see more people out walking but no. I live uptown and most of the goings on, are downtown.

Let me end by saying, I'm thankful that we are all safe and well. We do know a few people that have passed from the virus. Please God, we'll all get through this together and will keep brightening each other's days up.😘

She works at a grocery store( not Walmart)  and has had people coming in w/o a mask! 

Long story short..she complained to supervisor  and got no where...so she told them ...she was tired of telling customers they need a mask, and the looks,etc. she gets from them!

Manager doesn't care "she" thinks and won't deal with customers

Also daughter said...she was stressed our from not seeing me,her brothers and other family members!

I gave her hugs and told her i loved her...(she is in her mid 50's.)I felt helpless  and calmly listened to her..and advised her to try to stay calm.

I do know many stores in my area have posted signs -

you need a mask to go inside - 

I think it is mandate - and since we had the most deaths - many are following it

of course, if you have few deaths, you just feel, ugh- tired of this stay at home nonsense and refuse to wear a mask - so since repopening... we have seen spikes in many areas

I'm so sorry your daughter is going through this - manager hands off a difficult situation to her and don't want confrontations with the customers bc it could get ugly.

@cowboy sam  I smile because of my friends on this thread. I smile because all of my family, friends, personal or virtual are ok. I smile that I'm lucky enough to still be here.  I smiled after watching the movie, The Best Of Everything. I also smile, when I think of @Preds  but with tears in my eyes. She brought joy to my days. I hope I did that for her. I smile knowing she is having good days, eating, drinking etc..

Maybe it's all mushy but I 😊

I feel the same as you but I think we could feel better if there was a cure or vaccine or both.It is sad to fear living but we are constantly warned to stay safe and stay home.I use CBD oil to relax now and avoid meltdowns.It is available in drugstores and legal in my state.
