@Bri369 : Thank you. I know it was a risk going out but it really made a difference in how I feel. I have enjoyed today working on the binder and selecting special recipes. I wish I was more creative and had something to decorate the front of the binder, maybe look for old magazines and find something.❤️Southern Bee

@SouthernBee

what you did for your waitress was a kind gesture

whereas it may have been nothing in the past

hand sanitizers are pure gold and for you to gift it to her is priceless

I finally found a generic hand sanitizer -still have my partial bottle of Purell from years ago but times are different. I hardly used it which is why it is half full. This generic perhaps 8 or 10 ounces is $6.00.  Steep - but I will have a spare and can refill the little one I have on my bag.

If you have a printer - you can print a colorful pic - so many to choose from

I don't own a printer - but since you are giving her a binder, I figure you do

I'm so happy you got to enjoy a good meal and NO cooking for a day or two

@Yahooey sounds like you have a nice day ahead.I am like you and don't enjoy the really hot days.Give me warm and sunny but keep the hot and humid.

Well good morning to you.What you baking this week?

@dex don't know where the day went

I left around 8:30 this morning with SIL to Stop and Shop. About 1 mile each way and it was a great walk. Takes me about 1/2 hr to get there. Any earlier and NO one is retocking the shelves, so the regular worker are in by 9am and better selection even though senior hours are earlier - no sense if there is nothing there.

Anyway - called brother to pu groceries at the market. SIL and I walked back. Cool and not a lot of people to avoid. Most people in streets and definitely in the market were wearing masks. We know how bad it is so NYers are not antsy as the rest of the country.

Came home and made puffed pastry pizza - and shared with DB family.

No baking today - been eating cake or some kind of sweet everyday. Started with Irish Soda Bread. Banana Bread (too ripe and can't eat it nakid), Carrot Cake (wasn't too ripe but I'm not a bunny), BD cake, Mother's Day cake....

my cake stand came in today - never owned one - used improvise sheet pan, or foil wrapped cookie tin lid - will NOT bake - will NOT bake - will NOT bake

@Yahooey @You do keep busy.Good to hear people wear masks.In my area they seem to think they aren't needed but I think if we all wore them things could normalize with a bit more speed.

now that you have a new cake stand we need to see a creation upon it..so I guess you will maybe,possibly,potentially bake.
