Good morning Lovelies,

Oh, I remember all these old times. And “record hops.” Yup, those teen dances. What excitement for me, a girl sent to an all-girls school run by the dear Sisters. There were boys at those dances! And I was allowed to go. I think I was a dancing fool. Anybody else here remember these times?

I spent weekends at the skating rink. Parents bought me some used skates, cleaned them up and I put big black pom-poms on them LOL

Drive-Ins maybe a couple of times. There was only one and it was very far away. They'd probably be popular again. LOL

Loved the drive-ins.We would go with as many friends as we could hide in my boyfriends van and then lay out on a blankets to watch.we didn't have the roller skating rink but we had bowling lanes.They were serving alcohol there at nights so we couldn't go.Saturdays in the afternoon only.

@dex ~~I second the suggestion to maybe call your local walk-in place?~~ Sorry I just read back, that you aren't ready for the walk-in yet. I got an email yesterday from our walk-in that they are now doing televisits. Love that idea, especially when we know what the issue is and just need an rx. I hope you feel better soon.

Skating Rinks - HAIL YES we had a roller rink near us growing up. I was the 10 year old with the most attitude, with my purple skating outfit and pom-poms on my skates as we skated to ELO and Journey.
