I looked at Best Buy. They had the otter box defender case on sale for $66 plus I have a Best Buy charge card and will be delivered on Thursday. In the product specifications, questions and answers  and reviews stated will fit the 2025 iPad Air M3. I had this brand on my previous ipad. Praying this problem is solved. 

My eyes are really bad. Will wait until Thursday to try and finish with the iPad so that I can do the factory reset on the Amazon tablet. Thanks again.

Had pouring down rain this morning  now light rain  off  and on   and mower guy will be unhappy not to be mowing my  yard today...

After 3 weeks w/o garbage picked up due to striking workers  it got picked up this morning!

I had problem with my voice this morning  and painsake  sis...called me  and trying to tell me i needed to go with my sister(her) to eat today and i would be ok!

I told her several times no.😡😡..i wasn't readyt to go eat out yet!She kept saying she was better off her meds  and even passed her eye&driving test recently....like it would change  my mind. sigh

ok..yesterday  i called AT&T to ask questions  about new modem...as instructions were for using a smart phone...i don't have one...and asked if i could by pass those instructions  and use the easy way i am used to  from disconection from old one to new one? 

Was told yes,i could.....then i was told that i needed to update my system  to a new system  by having a new syestem box sent to me  and then a tech come to house to set it up for me....

but because i had called about new modem...she was unable to order it.   She gave me a phone # to call after my next phone    billing.So we hung up

I set my new modem next to old one  and move the cables to new one...it downloaded my modem new password to computer  ok.. old modem had 7 lights .  new modem only has 3 lights on it...,broadband,  internet, and phone....sigh  my landline phone  light wouldn't come on!!!

Placed another call to AT&T  and get a man this time...told him what was happening...he also told me i  have trouble with my" phone line"  its bad  and needs replaced BUT company was not going to fix  or pay anyone to repair phone lines  any longer !!!!

 I needed to upgrade to new phone system...or they will discontiune giving me phone service!  After a hour him trying to help me ...i finally got my phone service back  light  and land line working!!!!

"But" after next billingAug.5th for phone/internet service...i need to call them back to have  a new system box sent to me  and they will have a tech  set it up for me  at no cost...sigh  then service tec on phone said  i could lose both again  because of bad telephone lines!

If" i don't call back to up grade to new service  then my service  would be discontinued!

So far so good today...i have internet  and my reg. phone working ok.

No rain today  and its cooler in 70's  and sunny.

@geezerette : Totally frustrated and worn out. Finally able to do factory reset on the Amazon tablet.

Apple customer support solved my problem.

Trying to find a good calendar to add to the iPad for all of our doctor appointments,frustrating and taking a break.

The calendar on the old tablet had space for the date, time and notes for directions.

I'm glad to hear you got your Amazon tablet reset and Apple solved your problem.

iPads have a calendar app but I guess you don't care for it.  I don't use digital calendars so I can't help you with that.  Maybe someone else has a good suggestion.

@geezerette : Thanks. What a big frustration trying to view and post on this forum.

Finally found a calendar for all of our appointments.

Really disappointed in the Otter Box defender case for the iPad. The stand was plastic and very difficult to position but felt like it would break . Ordered something else.

Had a busy  but fun weekend

Friday nite

the married couple had me going with them to next town from us to eat out.....i know that  a friend is asking what did i eat?  Chicken strios with honey mustard for dopping,ff ,a few bites of salad  and drank water!

 60 yr. old son took me shopping...Saturday! 

Went in/out of 4 stores,then went to Walmart for groc,  found my fav  frozen meals  and i stocked up on them and  needed jugs of gallon spring water..only had 6..grr but its better than none..lol.  uh..i'm shocked yet that i spent over $11.00 for a small carrot cake  but i did!

Last stop was at Culvers...had a butter cheeseburger  and a concrete med chocolate  with oreos!!!!yummmy!

Sunday morning

went with married friends to another town to get hair cuts....they paid for it.

Then we went to a big box store..she and i bought nothing ...he bought himself some new colored t-shirts with a pocket,and a few other items...

then we went to eat at a truck stop with resturant.....i had a "odd" taco salad  and had a pepsi..first glass tasted ok...2 one tasted different  and i got a upset tummy!  I paid for our meals...then we came back to our town...and me back home!

Body had lots of exercise,walking,getting in/out of vehicles  so body needs to rest today  or all week

Just to let ya'll know, I can't get into Community Chat except by clicking on a notification from this thread. So if I don't show up for a while, it's not because I'm ignoring anyone.

Speaking of not being here, I wonder what happened to @Yahooey ?  I hope she's just working in her garden and continuing her remodeling, with Zoe's help, of course.😸
