My widow friend and other friend are suppose to visit tomorrow around 4. I hope no gifts cause the visit would be the best gift. I have cookies in the freezer and will take some out and put on Christmas plate. I have a good variety of k cups, I will make tea and have some egg nog. Normally when they visit, I make chicken salad and have croissants to make sandwiches but not able to do this time.

Received email that my last Christmas gift suppose to be delivered today.

DH said he will go get us something to eat Sunday to keep me from cooking and worrying about getting the kitchen clean before friends visit, that is a big help.DH stated he will stay in his computer room during the visit. Yea: girls time.It has been months since they have came for a visit.❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏

Email from Amazon: Packing being delivered today by Amazon?!!😯😯  We have Amazon distribution center in Atlanta but not our city. Then text message: watch your Amazon delivery. It was a rental truck but delivery guy had an Amazon vest on. Packages were scheduled for tomorrow delivery.

Its 50 degrees right now  but had drizzling rain overninght  and very humid out! in otherwards Ycky out for me.

But i left house   walked downtown  to dr. office at 8 am for8:45 my blood draw to have my thryroid rechecked  to see if medicine stays the same  or changed again??

I see my NP  on the 23d for results...but hope they call me instead.

But...round trip walking it was close to a mile   without using my cane

But not sure if i want to go out again...even for lunch  with paincake sis  and her neighbor???

It's really warm and rainy here today too.  About 65* right now.  Thunder and lightning this morning.  Gloomy.😔 

More rain again Wednesday.😕

@cowboy sam @geezerette @PamfromCT @Yahooey : Had 9 a.m Eye doctor appointment. I woke up with both eyes cloudy. It was cold and cloudy outside. Everything was stressful. First eye test looking at things on the wall really got me upset. Could not see much with my " Good eye" then not much better with the bad eye. Lady tech went out to talk with doctor and he said she needed to do the eye pressure test and my anxiety increased . She gave me some eye drops and took 3 attempts.She talked to doctor and said needed to do another test to look at the back of my eyes and had to walk along way to the back of the building. I had trouble sitting in the chair and keeping my forehead and chin in place. They called another tech in to hold everything in place. I was told not to move. I was having trouble trying to do everything and having trouble breathing. Not bad getting info for left eye but took forever on the right eye. Then had to walk back to front of office.

Doctor said my eyes had drastically changed in 6 months and especially my good eye. Stated test showed catracts and he thinks glaucoma. He wanted me to see their doctor that deals with glaucoma. He stated probably no surgery for the bad eye but needed help for the good eye. I was upset but asked if any vitamins could help and he why not try something and just do the research. Front desk scheduled appointment with specialist and the earliest appointment scheduled for April. I am still upset.  

I called my friend in Tennessee and both have bad eyes and her DH going blind. Their eye specialist have them taking the presser vision ards 2 and both on RX eye drops. She suggested that I call and talk with the new eye doctor nurse and explain everything and see if they have appointment for January.

How did your visit go with your friends   yesterday???

Yesterday  i did go with paincake  and friend to Cracker Barrel  and

Cracker Barrel had my" Cardinal windchimes" i asked about and was toldthey didn't have it  as one i saw was sold  but another one of their stores had one...and one of the managers that lives near other store  would pick it up for me.....and  she did and it was waiting for me yesterday!

I haven't taken it out of box yet to look at it  as i'm not sure if i will put it out now  or wait until spring/summer??

oh...paincakes car made a very loud noise when she backed out of parking space!!! Then not as loud noise when she stooped at stop sign for us to leave and go into traffic....but she had to stop at other stop signs  and no sounds then!

She was going to take it to her garage  in her town to have machanics look at car  after she took me home!

I'm wondering if its not her transmission in her old car...sometimed it sounded like it wasn't in drive gear!

Hope to find out more later todayabout her car.

I was so distressed to read everything you are going through.

I do think your eye doctor should call the recommended specialist to explain your problem and to get you in as soon as possible.  Get you on the fast track.

Meanwhile, start taking the supplement someone had recommended for you.  Never go outside without sunglasses on.

None of my business - but I must say your present doctor's office is something you may consider reevaluating.  never heard of anything like it.  My eye doctor performs all exams, in one room, and I do not think he would ever leave it up to me to get an appointment with a specialist that far out.  Sorry, but I must be truthful.

We have been taking Lessman's eye vitamins for years.  Did your present doctor ever recommend a supplement for you?
I sincerely hope the very best outcome for you, and I do hope you can see a specialist as soon as possible.  I have "fired" a doctor or dentist  more than once because I was unhappy  with their care.  Never had any regrets.  I will be praying for you to the Great Physician.  You are a very special person with so many good qualities.  You are also very brave.  You are a very special person here, and we all love and care about you!
