My treatment center back in 2002 did not have the banging of the gong or ringing of the bell when treatment was finished. If I had been able to do that: I would be concerned for the ones still getting treatment and thinking about what would be the next step for them.🤗❤🙏

My sister went through her treatments well over a decade ago and no bell ringing or gongs then either. Even if she had been given the opportunity, she's not the type for making a big deal of things.

However, my great-nephew underwent cancer treatment a couple of years ago when he was just 25. He did ring the bell when he was finished. I suspect he did that more for his mother since she likes all that, whereas he's rather quiet and reserved. Still, I imagine for such a young man I suppose it was a great relief and he may have enjoyed it more than I suspect.

@PamfromCT : Thank you for the kind words and understand. I am not a loud, flashy person. I no longer wear makeup, only jewelry: watch if going out for appointments. I don't wear white t-shirts and definitely nothing printed on them. I have never worn any bracelets. .🤗❤❤🙏🙏🙏

I am very happy that you have survived cancer or have family member or friends that also have.🙏

My friend is also .very quiet but does share with pancake sis and myself about her cancer journey.

I am the one blabbling to all here.. asking for prayers for her etc.🙏

She has the type of breast cancer that can spread to other major organs she was told.

I will also share with you....her mother died from cancer.

my friend had the c. virus and almost died..and now dealing with kidney failure from it.

plus

finding about her breast cancer recently.

I had a nice surprise in the mail today

My older sister in TX..sent me a picture of:

our mom,& dad,

oldestsis,,myself and youngest sister at the time,

no date date on back of picture but was taken outside at our dads parents house...

i look like i might have about in first grade?

Going to be a nice fall day today...sunny and now 70 degrees...

hope to go to lunch with pancake sis,and her neighbor friend&mine...

What to eat???? Cracker Barrel not a good place to eat today,,,sigh!

Oh my goodness. Your friend certainly needs all the prayers and good thoughts that she can get with all those health problems. To have to now deal with cancer after going through Covid and then kidney failure. We'll have to double our prayers to make sure she beats it all!

Aw...how nice of your sister to send you that old photo. I'll bet you'll have fun talking with your kids and grandkids about it and your memories.❤️

Your weather sounds perfect! It's getting hot again here--maybe 90 degrees again this week. And still no rain in sight. It's very dry because we haven't had any rain at all this month, but the low humidity feels nice! And it's staying cool at night too.

I hope you go to lunch. You know "somebody" is going to want to know what you have to eat!😉
