@Yahooey ...lol...Ahhh, Zoe haz her vewy own fan!...Yous is a vewy gudz Meowmy Heart:

Does Zoe still go out on her patio and garden area in a shady area or does she just  stay in during this hot weather?

Hobo enjoys sitting on his cat trees and looking out at all of the activity, especially the bunnies hopping around our yard and chewing in the grass...There must have been a bunny boom this year as there are so many...They are so adorable! Heart

Are your contractors there today?...Inquiring minds need to know!  😊

she gets let out in the early morning and then she is inside for many hrs

she usually sleeps during that time - whether i'm home or not

and then get let out for a few hrs until 8 or before

too hot to stay out all day and if i didnt call her back - she would stay there all day

does she NOT know she is wearing a fur coat?

Good Morning Y'all. Currently 81 with rain showers this afternoon and I have a doctors appointment to see my gastro doctor but praying it will be the nurse.

I finally received the insurance check yesterday.

The cleaning ladies are here.

Poor DH. His doctors office called yesterday morning stated they scheduled his heart Cat Scan for 1:30 p.m. and then sent him to the wrong place but made it to the other place. He will ask them to schedule next year back at the hospital. That was his last appointment for the month. Nothing else scheduled for me after today.

What are y'all doing today? Stay cool.🤗❤

Icky...Icky...Icky...I sure hope that we get some good rain pretty soon and some relief from these temps...It will sure feel good to open our windows and get some fresh air throughout our house.

@cowboy sam ...Those drivers work so hard and such long hours...Can you imagine working in this weather and I'm sure that there are lack of workers, etc...not through their fault...so much has changed...I would love to just let it all out but not advisable!  🤫

Everyone stay cool and take good care!  Heart

i canceled my last day at the farm today - too hot to work on it

when it was high mid 80s - i was just walking around - talking to the goats and not weeding or planting etc - every time i stood up - i was a bit dizzy after nuch time hovering over the rows of crops

i told my friends that i would stop bc i knew i couldnt handle the heat anymore

and since today was still high 80s - i cancelled

as i have said time and time again -

i dont even work on my own farm in high heat

@Yahooey ....Wow, we posted at exactly the same time!...What are the chances of that happening!...LOL

Good Call, not going to the farm in this weather...Zoe sounded the alarm because she was so worried about her Meowmy.

I bet that Ice Cream sure hits the spot....Have you been getting any Watermelon?...We love it and have been sucking it down like there is no tomorrow!   😅

@MyShadowLove

funny you should mention watermelon

i'm a walker - so i usually just walk to the market carrying the stuff back

i usually dont make large heavy purchases

i may go back again another day - good exercise

but when temps go up - i lounge - not fit for public consumption or viewing lol

the past week - big sales - for july 4th

watermelon 3.99 each and this is not the personal itty bitty size

i took my cart - loaded up ice cream - watermelon - burgers - sauages

and heave the whole thing back like a packmule

it was worth it - so sweet - whole melon was cut into chunks

hardly any white rind - YUM

i took home a quart - still a pint left - saving it for the afternoon

i'm eating ice cream every night - i know that is so bad and i'm not moving bc of the heat - i rather bundle up and walk - but the heat stops me in my tracks

@Yahooey ...Yeah, I can imagine how difficult it must be to have to lug back a whole cart of your food supplies, especially in this weather....How many blocks are the nearest markets from you?

I'm waiting for the local Peaches to come out...not quite ready yet...and we have been having corn-on-the-cob with practically every meal....Summer Eating is my favorite...all the fresh local fruits and vegetables from the Farmers Markets...Yummy!

Pasta Salads are another favorite during the Summer months....one recipe is sautee some spinach...add artichokes, Greek pitted olives, cherry tomatoes, roasted red peppers, sun dried tomatoes....add some Feta cheese....and, of course, corn-on-the cob.  lol

Mangia! 😋
