your kitchen must be very big to accomodate all your gadgets and appliances

the way my kitchen is - i cannot expand bc windows - entryway is surrounding it

mine is 10' x 8'4" - that is super small

shove a fridge and stove - sink - no counter space to speak of

my island will take the place of the small kitchen table

so basically - 1 person can fit in there and work

Occupancy- 1 hoomin + 1 kitteh max capacity

1. @Yahooey : My kitchen is better than what it was but a little more counter space. I will try to post photo later.
2. Do not know how the number thing started.
3. I turned a bedroom into extra storage space for me. I call it my middle room. I use my Moms dining table as a desk, have filing cabinet , my recumbent bike.

5. Two shelves
6. Something similar to this cabinet. I had plywood cut to fit the shelves and use this for pantry.
7. The closet for all of my Pyrex and baking pans. I try to keep everything neat and not look like a mess or hoarders room.

@Yahooey @geezerette @cowboy sam @MyShadowLove : My kitchen. I wanted the subway tile for the black splash in a neutral soild color. The contractor decided it would be cheaper to do something else. It was installed when I went with DH to his doctor appointment. This was when we were having issues with some of the workers and the contractor, decided not to make changes to let them finish.

i was looking at smaller tiles in the beginning

i was using my brother's kitchen as a guide

you can see the multi color tiles which i thought were really pretty

and yours are similar excpet a different color combination

I'm a "neutral" gal myself.  But your backsplash looks good!  It still has neutral coloring, just not one solid color.  It goes well with your cabinets and flooring.  

I think it turned out fine!👍

dear preds  and friends

My friends the married couple called  and soI was asked to go get a hair cut,go to Wall,eat,etc.

As were are out of town i realize my purse was still at my house! He turns around and 5 min. or so later i get my purse  and we leave town again!

Get to next town..hair stylis  my friend wanted isn't working today  but will be Thursday! So we head to wally  an he parks....she doesn't want to go in,i didn't either   and he didn't either! 

so we leave parking lot to go eat! 

I had spinache&mushroom soup  and a chicken salad sandwich on wheat bread  and a Dr.Pepper,

he has salad,and same soup as i did  and a d., pepper....she had a hot beef on mashed taters,and cole slaw  and cawfee!

We, then went to different groc. store  and he parks...i say i don't want to go in,she didn't either....so i was decided we would wait until "after" we get hair cuts tomorrow....

And then  we come back to our town!  Its supposed to rain in morning but we have rain coats!

I get home  and find 3 messages on answering from pancake sis....wanting me go w/her to eat out!  Duh!  if i don't answer landline phone...i'm not home!!!!

think i need a nap now!
