dear preds  and friends

Yesterday,

i got to hold my new great grandson that was born Friday!

He weighed 8pounds 10 ounces  and was 21 in. long....soooo cute

My youngest son  is so proud of his first grandbaby!He had to take  thebaby from me after maybe a hour so he could hold him...

Bad thing about fad diets: if you stop - the weight quickly comes back. Same for us doing Atkins suggested by DH doctor. I tried some of the Keto but didn't like the almond milk or almond flour or the fake sugar substitutes . Prefer to limit the bad stuff.

Still haven't heard anything about my lapdesk.

I am too wobbly to using any step stools and don't want to fall and break anything but I appreciate the suggestion and information.🤗🤗🤗

Me too!

So many of the substitutes don't agree with me either.  Or, lik you say, I don't like their taste.

I'd rather use a little "real" sugar than more of sugar substitute.

Waving To Everyone!....Fall has officially arrived....a cool 58 degrees so far and slowly creeping up...I've been turning on the heat first thing in the mornings for a short while.

It's been a busy week...I ended up heading down to my hometown in the suburbs of New York for a couple of days....It wasn't planned...more of a last minute thingy...kind of a mixture of family drama with some fun thrown in...sounds kind of wacky, but that's our family and it worked for us!  🤪 

I also got a call from our painter who was originally scheduled for the 23rd to finish up our painting project and start on our great room; however, he is now able to come and start on the afternoon of the18th and finish on the19th and 20th, due to a change in his schedule...WooHoo!...So I've been busy clearing away items and wall hangings from all areas, (living area, dining area and kitchen)...We now just have a clean canvas for our painter to perform his masterpiece...It also has opened my eyes to make some changes for a more airy and fresh look so I'm excited!

@Yahooey ...I almost fell out of my car window screaming your name as I usually do when visiting my hometown in the suburbs ...only about 45 minutes from the City!...Us New Yorkers can be loud, so I'm sure you heard some kind of screeching sound!...That was me! 😂

@cowboy sam ...A huge Congratulations on your precious newborn great grandson!...I'm sure your heart is filled with so much love and joy!...I am so thrilled and happy for you and your family!  ❤️

@SouthernBee ...Congratulations to you and your husband on your weight loss...Don't compare with your husband...everybody's metabolism varies...It is great that you both are working on it together as you are support and encouragement for each other. 😊  

@geezerette ...I'm having a very difficult time finding the pumpkin pie under all of that whipped cream! 😄

I was just outside to move my 3 T= turtles ;=Terry,Teddy,Tommy they been facinfg same direction for???

Brrr..i needed my jacket  that was in house  as its a bit breezy  and 57 degrees  but sunny out!

@MyShadowLove   is getting her painting done sooner...yay!!!!

@SouthernBee    i have always read that men lose more weight than women....thats not fair!But ...don't get discouraged..you did great on your own also🤗

@geezerette ....hmmm that whipped creme looked good are you sure there is pie underneath?  maybe its a hot fudge sundae instead

@Yahooey ...has ya got your new crop that you planted  up and ready for picking&eating now??/ (((hugs) for zoe'🤗

Me needs to have blood taken early Monday morning...i have had 2 text reminders already today  plus some this past week!Plus text reminders i need to see N/P Wed. morning at 8am!

that means i need to leave home around 7:30 am to walk there!
