I have plenty enough room for chickens. But no coop and lots of coyotes.😱🫣
I used to have lots of chickens years ago when we had our big farm. Lots of eggs. I had a pet chicken too. 🐓🥰
@geezerette ...Awww, what was your pet chicken's name and what made that one chicken special from the others?....@Yahooey wants to know! 😄

Well, @Yahooey 😆 and @MyShadowLove,
I had two special needs hens. One was blind ("Blindy"--not too creative I admit) and she was tame but wasn't overly affectionate. I watched out for her and made sure she got fed properly and not abused by the others. Chickens don't like weak ones in their flock and will often kill them. She tended to just avoid the other chickens.
The other hen was my pet girl though. She had a turned-in foot and limped so my husband had named her "Little Gimp". She would follow me around and loved to be petted and to sleep in my lap. She was just a real sweetheart.

@SouthernBee wrote:@Yahooey : Hello. Me been very busy. Took all day Friday to clean and organize the new fridge. Placed grocery order with WM and they were out of several items that I needed.Decided to place order with Publix but did not like the delivery fee and other fees. Decided to try Instacart. Friday evening I was worn out and sore throat had returned. I had planned Saturday to cook my food for the week ( cabbage soup diet). I took some medicine and slept most of the day. So today was busy cooking my food and doing a separate meal for DH. Plus still need to do laundry.
I wanted to try the cabbage soup diet to hopefully stop my cravings for bad stuff and eat healthier.
I like the fridge. My vegetable bins are smaller. But really love the different shelves on the door. Love the deli meat and cheese drawer. Love the freezer. The freezer door really have to be careful how items are placed or can fall through the space between the shelf and railing or what ever it is called.
Somewhat loud when cycles on and off but at least not constantly running and can't hear it in the den. Will still be listening and looking during the 30 days to make sure this is a keeper.
Glad to hear that your new refrigerator is doing well so far.
I don't know if refrigerators are louder now or what. I think sometimes when you've had problems with them, especially the amount of problems you've had, we tend to listen for any little sound we think might be a problem in the making. I often will stop and wonder what is making that sound and realize it's just the refrigerator.
I hope it stays problem-free for you. You deserve a break after all you've had to endure just to keep your food cold!❤️

@SouthernBee ...WooHoo!...Celebration time!...I'm so happy and relieved for you that your refrigerator problems have finally been solved and that you now have a brand spanky new one...Ours is a Maytag and we have had it for approximately 5 or 6 years now and no problems whatsoever....Oops, I better not speak too soon...lol...I just ordered a couple of lazy susans for our refrigerator...I have been on an organization frenzy this Winter...cleaning out and organizing drawers, vanities, desk, closets...putting in new shelving paper...etc...a good Winter project...I'm hoping it will instill some enthusiasm in my husband to do the same with the garage this Spring...lol...I have even been hinting that our weather here in the Northeast has been somewhat mild so he could even get started now! 😉
@Yahooey ...I was in New York for five days visiting with one of my nieces and I screamed out to you as I hit the NY line, but the City is usually screaming on its own with noise, so my screaming went unnoticed...lol...How is your foot?...How is Zoe?...I'm missing my precious Shadow so very much and our home feels so empty without her...Her passing has hit me the hardest and the deepest...Just some more time and I'm getting close to rescuing another or two in her Memory...Having such blessings in my life since I was a little girl has become as much a necessity for me as food and water.
@cowboy sam ...In trying to catch up with the posts, I read that your son is responding very well to his treatment...That is wonderful news and I am so happy for you and your family!
@Mj12 ...We are patiently waiting to see your adorable Penguins!
@dooBdoo ...Thinking of you!

Went for walk last evening with neighbor, when i returned, i turned tv on..and not working...so i put new batties in controller and all was good.
So i watched tv for a while.
Then on computer for a bit and lost connection ..i looked at modem... lights were off for "phone and service ligh"t!
Not again!
I unplugged, replugged back in and then it recycled a few times.
I got upset and my bp probably went up by then...and was very upset with internet/phone provider plus it was bedtime...so i went to bed.
Too upset to sleep like i needed too!.Determined to call a different cable company for new service from them today!
Got up at 3: oo am and modem had all 7 lights was on and not blinking!...
so i went back to bed got back up and then napped on couch with moist heating pad on my back and slept until 9:30am.
Now...all is good
Its raining out and i'm still in my jammies and have a dull head ache...i have checked my bp and its ok
