oh my..this wind we are having...we lost electic power for close to 3 hours...seemed like 3 days!😱🥱

I woke up around 3am when i heard the wind...so i put on bathrobe,shoes on  and went outside  and took  all 6 of my wind chimes down  and secured my lawn chair!

Also had showers in between lows of quiet wind and returning strong winds!

How about you?Did you also get strong wind alerts?,etc??

I went across the street to pick up a tree limb   from neighbors driveway and  took to my burn pile...i also picked up small branches in my back yard...nothing huge tho!

Sorry you lost power.  We never did.  Whatever leaves were on the trees are gone now.  No branches came down or anything.  I'm surprised.  It's defintiely a mess out there.

@cowboy sam : Good Morning- I hate the time change. What are you doing today? I am doing ribs in the pressure cooker and then finish them in the oven. Easy sides like doctored up can baked beans and corn on the cob. Probably not much more since I am so tired and sleepy.

I haven't been shopping in 3weeks.......I buy all my meat from Omaha so I just looked to see if I have ribs......I DON'T and now I am so in the mood for them...

I've never had meat from Omaha.  I've heard it's very good.

Good luck finding a new fridge.  So it can't be repaired?  Did they ever say what was wrong with it?

we used to get things occasionally when I was raising a family but then when my husband died 10 years ago.I decided this would be the way to go. Everything comes 

ready for the freezer and there have only been a couple of things I have asked for a refund for.......believe it or not, I don't buy steaks from them. Rastelli has an excellent 

boneless rib eye that I get from the Q...don't get auto delivery because I don't eat beef that often but like having them in the freezer.....

@Bri369 : Well the service repair place and the home warranty said repaired  when they replaced the defrost heater. Then last week this other noise started . Its different and hard to describe- sometimes sounds like a loud humming sound and then a rumbling sound that will continue for several hours then stops and returns. Currently sounds like a big pot of boiling water. We are like if we call the home warranty and they call the same service repair: What happens if they send the young guy back out( using excuse that no one else is available). Then the cycle repeats to schedule someone else and with delays to order parts. Plus We are afraid that someone will say the noise isn't bad and really just the process of all the parts working.Plus the hassle and expense  of purchasing another refrigerator/freezer . I really have not completely filled the freezer. No easy decision.
