at age 26 - i had a lateral release on my knee (knee cap kept slidding off)

my cast was from my cr@t@h to my ankle- back in the stone ages

when they cut my cast off 2 weeks later - had to do PT - it hurt like heck

i couldnt do a single leg lift w/o the aid of electrodes to stimulate the muscles

i never worked out before - from then on - i always excercise

sometimes more - sometimes less but i didnt want to be immobilized again

@Yahooey : Ouch. Yes- I have endured very painful PT and fainted a few times during PT. I call PT : The torture chamber during my visits but always done what they told me to do. Plus my precious Mother always gave me small gifts or special treats for being a good patient.

i went to breakfast with daughter this morning...12 miles out of town to a family resturand and good food!

I had a fried egg sandwich with  melted cheese and" 2 bacon strips" on a  muffin...and came with   fried hash brown  potatoes!

Oh, my gosh it was sooo thick with eggs,  and melted cheese...yummy!  uh i could have shared it with @Yahooey 

 No Pop.. just a glass of water with it!

Came back to my town and stopped at our Dollar General Store and i bought some freezer foods and few other items.

After i get home and putting food up phone rings...my friend wanted me to go shopping  with them in town i was just at...i had to tell her i was too tired to go with them.

I've been resting since then.

Just pretty rhododendrons, azalea's, black eyed Susan's, myrtles, weigela's, magnolias, a few dogwood trees, etc. No pictures yet.

@loveschocolate ...Sounds absolutely gorgeous!...I have a picture of your beautiful lake house in my mind and think of you often, as you are living in my dream house...I told my husband I would love to live near the ocean....or a lake....or a river....or I could settle for even just a brook.   😂

@Yahooey ...What a beautiful vegetable garden you have!...Your tomatoes look absolutely delicious....I just love eating them whole just like a peach....You grow eggplant too?

@SouthernBee ...I'm happy that your husband's surgery went well, but so sorry to read of all the stress that you are dealing with, albeit your SIL creating additional stress...I love @loveschocolate 's advice, so just give her your SIL's number and she will set her straight!...lol

Please try and take some time for yourself which I do understand is so difficult to do when being a caregiver...Is there someone who can stay with your husband so you can just take a day and go off somewhere peaceful to relax... We worry about you!
