@Yahooey , nothing that exciting. MIL didn't lock me out! 🤪 Last weekend, I was up in Ohio and guess who was here at my home in North Carolina? 😡

The digs I am loving. Been doing a lot of landscaping. Growing season is so much longer than in Ohio.

I still need to read back the month of February. I will be back tomorrow as long as my internet is working. Life in the mountains. I'm not complaining.

Kisses 😘 to Chloe.

@loveschocolate : Yea - your back. We missed you. So sorry that the MIL " soap opera " continues. We love and support you. ♥️♥️♥️🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hi @Yahooey!

Hi Lovelies!

Good things have happened in my life - GS graduated from 8th grade, GD has a nice dancing recital, DD hosted a great FD’s party for family, my uncle doing well and happy in assisted living, etc.

As some may remember, I did seek treatment bronchitis a while ago.  That went ok.  However, the radiologist who took my chest x-ray noted a possible situation with my heart.  My cardiologist could not access the X-ray  ecause of different hospital systems - cray cray!  Anyway, he kind of blew it off, and my PCP seems to think I am ok when looking at a chest X-ray done a half a year ago.

What to do?  Seeing my DF died of a heart attack at 64 and my DM had a heart issue she was born with, I decided to pursue this.  I guess maybe I am cray cray, but I really need to know if all is well.  If not, FIX IT.

So I am scheduled to go into the hospital In early July for an angiogram test.  Nervous?  Yup.  I know so many deal with so much more every day, so why should I wine?  I will be 78 In August.  Mentally, still a kiddo I guess.

I pop in and out on the main forum, and I apologize for being such a drag here.  Love you all!

@PamfromCT : You will never be "a drag". We love you. Congratulations on all the achievements and celebrating.

You are doing the right thing to follow up on your health issue. We love and support you. You will be in our continued prayers and thoughts.♥️♥️🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

u my dear will never be a drag

this thread in preds fashion -

is to lift our spirits up when needed

a shoulder to lean on when facing challenges

when pancakes enter our lives - vent away and  let go cuz doing something drastic would not be good, and i personally dink @cowboy sam may have used our bail $$$ cuz she is a bit naughty but we lubs her lotz

i may have mentioned this before - but it is important

heart disease is the #1 killer in women but we always seem to dink it is a men's disease

several years ago - my nephew who was under 40 - thin and looks fit -

was riding his bike and wearing a heart monitor - something wasnt right according to the doohickey - he stopped and got a friend to pick him up w/bike to go home

went to the hospital - did tests and they kept him there for the ensuing stents

skeered us silly - dad (his GF) had stents put in several times

my brother who doesnt exercise and eats poortly got his posterior to a cardiologist

he needed stent or stents put in

i went to get tested along with my niece (his sister) the females were fine

if u have a history - better to be sure and do something about it

sending u lots of lubs and i always ❤️ hearing stories about ur GC uof course Zoe want to hear all about Sir Winston

@Yahooey : Family history very scary but relieved that everyone doing something. Continued prayers for you and your family.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

@Bri369   Yup, all of it!

You must have some special insight into what goes on at my house.  The post with the kitty helping dad....so true.  Here is my story.  I brought a dog home who was a stray who found me at work.  My husband said, "I'm not walking that 6 pound pup around the block"...months later inseparable.  Years later he bought an RV so pup wouldn't be left with anyone else...bonded for life.  When our little girl passed in my arms...he cried.

What a sweet story.  I've heard that before, how men bond with pets and become so close.
