@PamfromCT : Thank you. I sent text to the contractor and  he came this afternoon. He answered all my questions.

I let him look at my laundry closet and he suggested putting small shelves on the wall on each side of the washer and dryer since I am short.

We were really concerned about the backyard wood fence last night because we had thunderstorms with very high and strong winds. We took a big gulp and asked for estimate to replace the fence. He asked: are you aware of the lumber prices now and they are not going down anytime soon and we replied yes. He said to give a couple days for him to prepare the two estimates.

He said that if we are really considering his services that they could start at the end of the month. He said the only thing that I needed to do was empty my wall cabinet in my bathroom. He said they would move everything else and respect and take care of everything. He said that the walls will be smooth and everything looking much better. He didn't request any money or deposit just pay in full when job completed. I said please put us on your schedule.

We will not be surprised if the fence estimate is more than all the other projects in the first estimate 🤗♥️♥️

One of my friends , went on Facebook and looked at his work and read all the reviews and comments to me. She was impressed with all the before and after photos and no negative reviews.

He also gave us a very generous military discount. We noticed that Lowes and Home Depot no longer give military discounts.

@Yahooey : Not sure. I have purchased my Crocs locally from Shoe Station. Their selection of the youth or kids size is very limited. If I found something for the smaller foot could not match with the bigger foot size.🤷‍♀️😳

@cowboy Sam, Continued prayers for Curt.  You are also being remembered, as it’s so hard for you right now.  I hope you can get some rest, sleep well, and enjoy some pop and bacon.

We all got your back, ya know.

@SouthernBee, Glad everything is coming along.  You are smart to get things lined up early in the season.

We need a bit of work done on our deck - got the estimate from someone we have used before and does a great job.

The estimate?  I thought I would pass out.  But no choice if we want to take care of our home.  This guy has done well for us before.

I have read that many renters are having their rents raised higher.  I feel sorry for those who can’t stretch to afford.

Gotta remember all our wonderful Lovelies today!  Spring is a comin and we all have got to plan our nice, but cheap, getaway trip.  We got major talents here who can figure anything out.

Lubs to all!

@SouthernBee  Lowes and Home Depot still do offer a military discount. But as we have learned recently, there is apparently an annual limit at HD and then no more discount for the rest of the year. Lowes doesn't have a cap yet.  If you were not given a discount please go to customer service.
