Good afternoon Y'all: Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Returned home around 10:30 and been sleeping and resting. I have Gerd without esophagitis and hiatal herna. Medicine changed to 40 mg pantoprazole. They performed two biopsy and will receive the test results within 72 hours with a follow up appointment. I have been trying to do a lot of reasearch. I need to lose weight which I plan to do, avoid certain foods. I will still enjoy my chocolate in moderation and deal with the consequences. Everyone at the hospital was very helpful. Ok. So I was finally in the exam room and everyone explaining everything. One of the nurses exclaimed that my heart rate just jumped real high. I explained that reality just set in that y'all were working on me instead of me sitting in the waiting room waiting for some test to be done on my DH. Then really got concerned when they put that spray in my throat and the horrible burning feel. After that didn't feel anything else. So glad to have that done. Praying no problems with the biopsy results. Getting old ain't fun.
