read up on squirrels detracting...

sprinkle  chili pepper - cawfee groundws and predator urine of tiger, coyote 

ok - who here owns a tiger and pls send some pee over in a leak proof vial

i know some of u have spotted coyotes in ur area - 

zoe - do ur thing in the garden - not exactly a large predator - but sumding

i do let her in the yard when it is warm - but she doesnt necessarily pee there

she walks the perimeter only if warm - i dont even open the door until it hits 40 degrees

i will still leave crates over but sprinkle grounds 

i collect the grounds for composting and usually i bury dat along with veg peels etc

now i sprinkle on top 

u would dink i read up after they dug up last fall

i never said i was smart - i'm gawgeous 🤣

also they dont like daffidils - hyacinth - marigolds

aha - i dont care for hyacith either bc of scent - and no wonder my daffodils are in tact - but they said buy scented marigold... seed? plants? 

i see marigold  plants later in the spring... but perhaps a seed packet too

remember when i said i bought more seeds

apparently they like eggplants and sunflowers and guess what i bought...

sigh...

Don't you know by now that you CANNOT defeat the squirrels?

And, I've tried everything that is supposed to detract them including coyote pee.  Have no idea how they would get THAT in a bottle.

I gave up long ago when they destroyed every bird feeder I tried...even one that gave a tiny electric jolt when they jumped on it.

They would chew out the plastic spouts releasing all the seed, and then the raccoons and other critters would have a party.  I'm still finding bits of plastic and such in the woods from the dismantled feeders.

So, no feeders, no flowers, no plants = fewer squirrels. 

However, we have several nut trees on the edges of our yard and...they pose a significant risk when the squirrels are high up gnawing through the shells and tossing them aside.  It sounds like little bombs dropping.

You cannot win against them!

Do you have a sunny room that you could grow them in pots or trays in your house? 

Thats one way you could outsmart them!

Don't get me started on the money i spent at my old,old house  trying to get rid of them from getting into my house.🤬😡..only solution was move out and bulldoze the house down!

I have 2 neighbors who comlains about them also eating some flower s  or bulbs but yet has 3 or 4 bird feeders out plus feeds them corn next to her house!
