I heard that younger people are getting shingles also

my friend's 2 sons got it (not at the same time) both in their 20s

1 was hospitalized for a few days - he waited a while and thought it was nuthin'

i hope u find some relief and be back to snuff real soon

Oh @Mj12, I hope you can find relief soon from that nasty Shingles.  Known a few people who had it.

@Mj12  Just read that you have shingles. I'm so sorry, I know how painful it can be. Did you get some suave to put on it. From what I remember, there was a script you can get or something over the counter to put on it. I think it was called Zostex. 

A good friend of mine got Covid and a day later, she got shingles. If you know about shingles, if you had chicken pox in your youth, the shingles virus lies dormant in your body. When one gets older, several things can bring it out. They say stress is one, lack of immune system and recently, I have read several articles that Covid can bring it out. Since Covid breaks down one's immune system, that can bring the shingles virus to the  surface. It makes sense.

It's good that DH got his first shingles vaccine. All you can do now is take it day by day and FEEL BETTER. No hugs, just 😘
