What?  Do you need to protect the potatoes?

I'm not going out there! Just have to hope for the best. 🥔

you have to protect the tators - we are relying on you to bring in the crops so we may be sustained through the harsh winter - life lessons from Little House on the Prairie

This is perfection, @SoX.   Years ago I posted an image and Eskimo legend quote to Preds on a thread about our Daddys and how we missed them, because I often pictured my father sitting on a fluffy cloud smiling to us in the daytime and shining down on us at night from his star in the sky...

"Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."

...and in email messages she talked about it, said it spoke to her and became a cherished way to think of her dad, to see and feel his presence.   @Drythe and @Cakers3, both sensitive, intuitive, and tenderly empathic ladies like you, shared the same quote for Preds this week.   Stars have been special to me for most of my life, a recurring theme.   When I saw your link and your post I realized how right, spot on, perfect you are, perfect it is.    Not a coincidence.   She's there with her father, and in those wee hours of the morning when we've been accustomed to, counting on, seeing her here we'll see and feel the comfort and protection of her morning star.   May love bring us, all, together.   Thank you.❤️
