Just a note from the USPS website, only Christmas and New Year's Day will there be no mail...

USPS Holiday Service Schedule

All Post Office locations will be closed Christmas Day (Thursday, Dec. 25) and New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1). Regular Post Office hours and mail delivery will resume on the Friday after each holiday. See the schedule below for more details. Services and hours of operation may vary by location, so always check with your local Post Office for specific hours.

Wednesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve)

• Local Post Office locations will be open. Remember to check your local Post Office for specific hours.
• Blue Collection Boxes: Mail will be picked up by the scheduled collection times on the box.
• Regular mail will be delivered.
• Priority Mail Express mail will be delivered.

@cowboy sam : Currently 74 and expected high 76. I was praying for cold weather. I had my lock n lock pie carriers out to put my store purchased pies in the garage to save needed refrigerator space. Thankfully the pies are small and managed to put them in the vegetable bins in the fridge. Using my cardboard cake boards that are rectangular to stack my 9 x 13 food containers in the fridge. I line the cake board with foil and have a large plastic bag to store them and able to use them multiple times.
