So happy that April is over  as i felt like i was a "sloth"  on a tree

all month

Today   the first day of May..i went to lunch with sister  and her neighbor,came home  and my neighbor friend called me and we walked a few blocks then added 4 more blocks!

We have had showers today ,so it was very,very humid out  as i tfeels like rain again  but we both agreeded it was a much needed walk together

Yard didn't get mowed Wednesday    or today  and i doubt tomorrow....because of rain....will tell mowing guy  see you next week!

Our weather has been hot and using ceiling fans and central airp and hate that had to start this so early in the season.

How are your sister and her neighbor doing? How  are your son and daughter doing?

I am still surprised with all the walking and everything that you are able to do.

We are dealing with my recent furniture purchases. The DVD - bookcase not difficult to put together. The printer stand ( using for DH bipap  machine and other  stuff) was a 45 pound box. We gave the FedEx guy $20 and he was very thankful and put the box inside our front door. Mercy the stupid and confusing assembly instructions were way frustrating. DH had to do it. I put the back on, installed the wheels, door and shelves. 

I was having bad dreams that nothing fit where I intended to place everything.

The third package weight was 56 pounds and we gave the FedEx guy $20  and he put it inside our front door. We take these delivery people  for granted and fail to consider their daily schedule and all the heavy items they physically handle and carry. Today will try to unload the old items and place and fill the new items. Will wait until tomorrow to assemble the last item.

Also last two days dealing with DH pcp and his nurse to get the necessary documents submitted hopefully for the approval for DH name brand medicine that he needs for his fibromyalgia. Both of us dealing with extra soreness and pain the last few days but we need to get projects done. 

No updated information from the warranty service for DH recliner replacement. 

Finally received our state tax refund and that will be used on my eye surgery.

My dentist appointment was changed to Monday. Embarrassing to admit but haven't been to the dentist in over 3 years and really dreading this.

DH likes the new coffee pot. He drinks 7 to 8 cups of coffee per day and insist on freshly made. I know the kcups can be expensive, but I am not physically able to make a pot of coffee and make 2 cups at a time to fill his coffee mug and he will will make it with the kcups.He makes coffee at 1 or 2 o'clock in the morning. I know he does a lot for me but I can't do his coffee schedule. I was busy making his coffee and snacks while he was struggling to assemble that cabinet. 

I need to see if I can go back to sleep.

Hello to you, Busy Bee!

Glad your new furniture arrived, and you are doing well to get everything set up.  It was generous to remember the delivery people - they have to work so hard!  I bet you will be so happy when everything is set up.

We use k cups at home, too.  We drink coffee at different times anyway, and cleaning up coffee pots is very messy.  We try to get our cups on sale.

Sorry you both are sore, but happy you got a check for eye surgery.

Wish you good luck with your dental visit.

With everything going on, it is so hard to take care of everything.  Life does get crazy, we all know.

Wish you lots of good wishes for your upcoming eye surgery - please send out a reminder for us before.  Things get cray-cray in this house at change of season time.  Wish I had half the energy I used to have!

@PamfromCT : Thank you. We are having thunder storms. It has been hot. 

Haven't put the third piece together, but opened the box to look at the wood color. This will blend in perfect  in the living room. Moved the other two pieces in  the den. This makes that corner of the room look so much better.

Sent SIL text messages and photos of the old furniture. She will come Monday afternoon. She will take the big empty boxes . She believes her son will be able to repair , or replace the wood on the old tv cart and stain it for them to use.

DH went to the men's prayer breakfast this morning. I used this time to throw away  old stuff and junk he had in the old tv cart. Everything was tied up good in a separate garbage bag.😀😀.No questions asked when he took the garbage out.

I took a two hour nap this afternoon. Thankfully no more nightmares about the new furniture.

@PamfromCT @cowboy sam @geezerette @Yahooey @gloriajean . Interesting  day. We had trouble finding the dentist office but only 3 minutes late. Just added to my anxiety. Waiting room furniture looked modern and new but difficult for me to get up off the sofa. The hygienist had to help DH. DH was pulling too hard and I started crying. So embarrassing.  I really liked my hygienist. She took so many x-rays that I kept gagging. Was in the chair over an hour. Totally embarrassing about my teeth. She said she has seen much worse from other people that had been to a dentist in over three years. I was worried about gum issues and cavaties: but none. I explained my back issues and trying to stand up to brush my teeth.  I told her that I used the Phillips sonicare . Her and the dentist suggested that I try the Oral B. Asked for model and only stated I didn't need the $200 ones with Bluetooth and totally agreed. Mercy : so many to choose from and fell asleep reading details.

I had intended this afternoon to put the other cabinet together. Just totally worn out. To late to change my appointment with the cleaning ladies tomorrow. They will just have to work around the big mess. I know that I just meet their minimal number of rooms to clean. But stuff happens. Thankfully nothing is scheduled for Wednesday.

Will only say...last visit to dentist last year....   

i have tmj  and couldn't open my mouth wide   and also my fibro....   uh   the.hygentist "yelled" at me to relax  so she could get x-rays! I told her i was relaxed!!!! 

Door was open  and i'm sure everyone in the office,etc heard her yelling at me😡

Dentist  later in room but didn't say anyhing to her in front of me took care of tooth i had problems  with....after he left  the room

i quielty let hygentis know i was unhappy...she   then asked if i wanted to make a appt. to have my teeth cleaned...all said  was..".not now"!😡

@cowboy sam : Totally understand. I have had bad experiences at dentist office. I have the tmj. She adjusted the chair for my back comfort and for her to work. She spoke softly and stated I was doing good and kept asking if I was ok.She took my blood pressure before starting and said it was high. Told her about trying to find place and my anxiety. Told her that I will see my new pcp on the 14 th and will discuss my blood pressure. I was in a lot of pain from trying to get dressed and all my anxity.

I need to do more research for new electric tooth brush.

@cowboy sam @geezerette @PamfromCT @Yahooey @gloriajean . Well darn: DH decided he doesn't like the new coffee pot. Stated coffee not hot enough and too strong. The highest cup option is 12 ounces and DH favorite coffee mug is 12 ounces and extra water can't be added during the brewing process and never had these problems before.

For me the coffee is too hot and strong. This morning I decided instead of using a kcup  to mix 2 tablespoons of my cappuccino mix in my hot chocolate mix. This was something different to try with my almond biscotti. Very good.

Yesterday when SIL was picking up the big furniture boxes : DH included the box for the new keurig  and then last night started complaining about the new keurig🙄😯😯.

DH doesn't want to take the time to research for another coffee pot but wants a replacement.

I need a vacation but not physically able.

I need energy to get up and put the other cabinet together.

Rainy day . I hope that Y'all have something more exciting to do.🤗❤❤🙏🙏🙏

Sorry to hear about your experience at the dentist.  I hate going, even though my hygienist and dentist are great.  I've always been afraid of doctors and dentists since I was a kid.  My hygienist is my neighbor and probably the sweetest person I know.  They're all very good about asking if they're hurting me at any time, and I've gotten bold enough to actually tell them if they are instead of quietly screaming inside.😆  If I need anything more done than just routine, they know to immediately get the nitrous oxide ready and lots of novocaine.😉
