I am so sorry that you have to go through that ordeal about money.  I guess we are living in a world where some bad people are always looking for ways to get money.  I am sure it will be resolved, but not pleasant to go through!

I am happy for you that you get out as often as you do.  Good for you!  and don't let "Pancake" spoil your fun.  I have always admired how much you walk - too bad I am not a neighbor you can get me to exercise with you!  

Also, I think you do well with your daughter.  You do have a good way with her.  Children grow up, but they still have their issues.  It really can drive a person cray-cray.  It is a matter of when to speak and when not to.  And then, how will it be received?  There should be more books written about this.

Well, sounds like your summer weather is like ours - so different from the summers we used to have.  I can't deal with heat and humidity, so I am inside looking out.  Only one good thing I said to DH about all our rain - we have not once has to 

water our grass!

My yard was mowed yesterday..and willl......be very happy when it won't need it like early winter...i know i'm rushing the seasons but!

Did a  short walk last night i humidity!

Today

Woke up to light rain this morning..

but, still won't be going to lunch with pancake sis  who disappointed me yesterday  and i didn't let her know it because it wasn't worth reminding her of something important to me.

I  instead let her have her  happy day after she had her throat stretched again  Monday..

as she had to have it done in the past  and was having trouble swollowing food again.and told us she had:

3 polps removed from her "stomach"  and will be tested!

Think she said she sees her specialist again 2-3 weeks  when her daughter lets her know....

her oldest  daughter  takes care  of her doctors appt. plus takes care of her banking  and health care,etc for her.....

But, sis does write checks out  but doesn't enter in checkbook   the date or check number..i heard her daughter scolding her about it recently...

As she is : forgetfull....her late dh took care of checking account etc...and now after 5 years she still "doesn':t know how  "or "want" to take care of her banking,checkbook,etc!  Its sad..

but she loves the attention from her 2 daughters helping her out.:smileysad...

Enough of pancake sis...my thoughts came falling out of my aged 84 brain this morning....but very thankful  i am still able to do so   

Any good news from anyone they care to share with us today???

Good Morning Y'all. Busy and stressful week. I will go back later and respond to everyone. Thank you for so many special birthday wishes. Yesterday, didn't return home until after 6 from the cardiologist appointment, more about that later. 

Monday , I didn't eat anything cause so tired of everything been eating. SIL sent text wanted to know if she could cook anything for my birthday? After much thought remembered that we hadn't eaten any BLTS this summer. Told SIL and said she would come over and cook on Tuesday. I ordered all the groceries and ordered the lower sodium bacon.

Birthday was wonderful. SIL was fantastic. She made delicious BLTS and bacon was good and crispy. I was bad and consumed two sandwiches. We had birthday cake and ice cream.The cake was delicious. We ate around 12:30 and I was stuffed and didn't eat anything else for the day.

Wednesday was the orthopedic appointment and was seen by NP and she is good. She showed me again the photos from the cat scan. Stated the lumbar stenosis was really bad in one area and my right hip was hurting because of the pinched nerve.

Epidural was discussed and she strongly suggested that I have one more and would give me a valium to take before. Pain management discussed but she first wanted me to try tylnol 3 with codine. 

Mobility equipment discussed. She suggested electric wheel chair especially for inside of house to get me up and active.Stated the wheel chair would take extra pressure off my back. We will be going next week to a durable medical store that verified they accept my Medicare advantage plan and eligible for wheel chair or scooter.

Yesterday was the appointment with the cardiologist. My BP was very high because I was in a lot of pain. The EKG looked good but scheduling echo and stress test. She wanted to do the pet scan but told her about panic attack with the cat scan.

She suggested three primary care doctors that are well trained, young and lady doctors. They are in the office where DH goes for his primary care doctor and located closer to our house.

For healthier prepare meals : she suggested Moms Meals that is nationwide with home delivery . 

For my swollen legs and feet she suggested drinking more water and using my Cubi JR 2.The swelling in my legs have gone down but feet still bad. My weight was down about 25 pounds that was water retention but still considered obese and need to lose more. So a lot of research to do.

Last night first night taking the new pain medication and slept from 11p.m until 6 a.m. I have really been sleep deprived because of the pain and couldn't get comfortable. Sorry about the long post.

Glad for all the fluid loss.etc  and its a star  for better health problems

uh..i had a panic attack  a few hours ago...

i have been concerned about if my c/a was working good  or not...

well i took a short nap  as i was up/down  during the night with spasms/pain in left leg instead of right one..

now the story

I woke up from nap  and couldn't breathe good  and i paniced...i just knew siomething was wrong with c/a...so i called local family company..and explained i felt something was wrong with c/a....then i took a allergy pill and got a bottle of water to calm me down!  

Minutes later the young servive man arrived..  I explained i had a panic attack and trouble breathing  from  what smelled like heavy air when i called him.!

He checked things out  and i told him i had changed the big box type filter about 6months ago...he showed it to me..and yes i needed a new filter....he had one my size in his service van   and replaced it   

also checked unit outside...

he told me that everything tested out ok.!!..

 Agreed with me it  in time my a/c hearing unit etc would be needed replaced..

When i asked how much i owed him  he  ... told   he  would only charge me  for service$95.00 call plus $40.00 for new filter " but "no" labor charge!!

  Big sigh of relief

$135.00 total was what i paid him today....

So all is good right now...i  have calmed down  and am relaxed...and feel safe that everything is ok.

@cowboy sam : Bank problems not fun. I found a charge on my bank master card, I didn't make the purchase and would have used a different charge card. Had to block the old card and issue a new one.

So sorry that you are dealing with so much.

I don't want to upset you but concerned about the cost of your service call.In my area the normal charge for servicing the central air includes the cost for a new air filter and not separate.
