@SouthernBee, I am so grateful it is going to be cooler in the next few days.  So many people would suffer without A/C in brutal hot weather.

Honestly, you are a saint to put up with the daughter situation.

I don't know what I would do.  How old is this woman?  I wonder if she is that poor at handling money or is just attempting to live a lifestyle totally out of reach to her?

I have heard - likely true - that some lottery owners have ended up broke.  It is so easy to think of ways to spend money we don't have!

@PamfromCT : She is 40 with two kids with health and mental issues. The girl is 14, boy 17 with 7 grade education. He has been kicked out of school so many times and supposed to be working on GED. She is not a good money manager and I tried to teach her when she lived with us but not interested. She has decided to work on her masters degree. My friend has tried to help her with her resume and looking for a better paying job.

Hi Y'all: This is really a difficult decision to make about another cell phone. Current phone only 2 GB Ram, Battery only the 3000 whatever instead of the 5000. Had to put cell phone on charger twice today. I have deleted as much as possible and disabled apps that can't be deleted.

Hi Y'all: Your pest is back. Read reviews and specifications to make sure to order  small phone with every up grade that I needed. Yes, spent more money. Ordered on HSN because phone was cheaper, free shipping and easy pay. DH said: Order what you need and consider it as birthday gift to self. Finally decided on the Samsung Galaxy

A54 5G. Praying this was a good choice and no issues with set up.

Good Morning Y'all: Yesterday, dealing with my cell phone and it doing strange things and trying to decide to purchase another one: had major family drama with my sister in law. She is very difficult to communicate with. She doesn't listen, she  doesn't read the text messages and emails before responding. Her text messages and emails are difficult to read and understand because she uses a short hand message that we haven't seen anyone else use in text and emails. Yes, we have discussed these issues with her several times.

DH didn't tell me but he purchased two cases of peaches for us and her( he normally purchases one case each), my freezer already full. He asked sister to prepare my peaches for the freezer. I sent her several text messages and emails about how to prepare the peaches for the freezer because she has never done this before. I explained that water not needed because pouring sugar on the peaches would release the peach juice. I tried to explain how to use the fruit fresh and to leave 1\4 inch head space in the containers. She insisted she had a better method and preferred to use freezer bags. I told her no freezer bags for me and any extra peaches for them to keep .Yesterday, she came over with 11 containers of peaches and all 1\2 full. Not enough peach juice to cover the peaches and already turning brown. Her and DH went to lunch. I was struggling to stand up but needed to do something. I put more fruit fresh and sugar in each container and let them set for a few minutes. Then filled each container. It was difficult putting everything in the freezer.

Then around 5 p.m. she text me: I have 30 of your peaches left, will cut them up and put in freezer bags and tomorrow will come over and put in your extra containers. What , already told her no extra containers. Sent her text. Thanks but no thanks, no more freezer space you keep peaches. She responded ok. Then last night she sent email to DH about the peaches: said to tell me she had 19 more containers of peaches to bring today. I sent DH copies of all texts and emails sent to her. DH was mad and didn't respond to her e-mail. I was afraid to turn my phone on this morning. Her last text was yesterday saying ok🙄😮.This is the extreme stack of pancakes!!!!!🙄😮

I'm so sorry to hear you're having to deal with all these family and financial issues when you're struggling with your own health.😢

Do the best you can and try not to stress about what you can't.  And let DH deal with his sister and daughter!

Staying home another day...i only ate out "once" this week  and that was Monday

It is a light rainy day  and i knew these old achey bones couldn't take  going anywhere so i am happy to be home again!
