@Yahooey, This whole business with the sink is not your fault.

I am sorry this is happening,  it it is the job of contractors to check things -  not yours.  They are the "experts" you have hired.

@Yahooey, I am sorry about this boiler issue.  While there are indeed good contractors out there, I could write a book after living in our home so many years.

The most comical one?  My wall oven died.   My only kitchen oven.  We go to store, pick a new one out, and delivery men

arrive with said new oven.  Remove old oven out to truck.

Install new oven.  Surprise!  It does not work. Meanwhile, they want me to pay the bill.. I said no.  They called their office, and headquarters told them if I would not pay, remove unworking oven and leave.  So they did. So I am staring at this big gaping hole cause they took my old oven.

I called a local appliance dealer, part of a buying group, and I was told by them would get me that model oven and install it, and even beat the other price.  They did!  I will never buy any appliance from anyone other than them.  "The first company?

They went out of business.

That is just a funny story.  Others, maybe not so funny.

i havent seen my contractor in a month bc the kitchen cabinets are being installed by the kitchen company - they are a small neighborhood company - the older gentleman was very patient - i was surprised he was doing the install himself - he said 1 of his workers called in sick - i believe he is the owner of the place - my brother bought his cabinets from him 20 years ago but brother installed them himself and didnt use their services

just a bunch of not doublechecking - at least i did and caught the error

it was just 1 week of incompetence- not earth shattering but annoying

Good Morning Y'all: Currently 82 🙄😯. 

I decided to try and clean the fridge out. Needed space for all the fresh fruit ordered for today. 

Mercy: found eggs dated 4\4\24, expired mayo, salad dressings. One molded carton of strawberries. One old 1\2 gallon of milk. I told DH that everything on the counter needs to be put in the kitchen garbage can and it was full. I decided better not try to remove the garbage bag. 

I called for DH to walk me back to the den. Very tired and back hurts a little.

What are y'all doing this weekend?🤗🙏❤❤

I had a bag with frozen blueberries/strawberries/blackberries in my freezer  and i have decided i love their taste..i also love my fruit frozen..or just starting to thaw.....

but..will never buy frozen bananas again!  they are yucky!😣

I haven't talked to pancake since Wednesday,

she called me Thursady 4 x or more  and i didn't answer my landline phone  or my cell phone, 

and Friday...no phone call from her

@cowboy sam : I am enjoying different varieties of fruit together. I love frozen fruit that is just starting to thaw.

Great for you taking a break from pancake sis.

I am waiting until next week to make more decisions. Dreading seeing my primary care doctor on Monday and have eye exam on Thursday.

I am enjoying today and waiting for grocery deliveries this afternoon.

DH will be going out to eat lunch with his sister at Cheddars. I requested a large salad.

In the grocery orders , I ordered for me: pineapple chunks and watermelon chuncks. I ordered one Hershey's milk chocolate bar: I have seen the Hershey's commercial too many times. Very difficult trying to be good.🤗❤❤❤

I don't get much decent fresh fruit here since our Kroger store closed down.☹️  So I buy as much as I can frozen.  The choice is limited though since a lot of fruit doesn't freeze well.  I'm not a big fruit fan anyway, but if I could get fresh like we used to when I was a kid and it had flavor I probably would eat a lot more of it!

Hot and humid here already this morning.🥵  It's rough after the cooler drier mornings we had last week.  We're coming into our afternoon heating rain showers time of the year so any day we can get a pop-up rain.  All that tends to do is cool it down while it's raining and then turn even more hot and humid when it stops and the sun comes out!😫
