i got there around 2pm to help - got home 2 am....
32 lbs of pork butt
400 oysters
50 cronuts
Yeti filled with ice for bottles of happy juice
(everyone was asked to bring a bottle or 2)
pork butts have been cooking all day - fall off the bone - there was 6 of them

fixings for the pork - butter lettuce - i chopped the scallions - she chopped the ginger - mixed in grapeseed oil made 4 quarts of it - cilantro - coconut rice

a fishmonger friend was shucking oysters - she was also shucking
they were in 4 bins - only 2 were consumed -
there are a few hundred left not opened
crispy fried shallots - spicey green sauce for the fixings

top left is the oyster with a dab of spicy sauce and fried shallots
lettuce wrap of coconut rice - pork - lots of scallion ginger and flaky sea salt
no cilantro for me

it was pretty amazing
people who have attended in the past - brought food containers
they know.... lol most took home leftovers
i took enought for my lunch and my brother as we prepare tonight's dinner
idk what will happen to the unopened oysters
