I did one load of laundry this am 

plus

I just got back from walking to little over priced grocery store!

I thought it was colder out at 37 and over dressed.  long coat,.warm hat,gloves, and it was warmer with sun !  

I is tired,and hot!

But i now have in my freezer

5 frozen chicken&mashed potators  dinner(no veggies include),

plus 2  frozen turkey w/taters(no veggies), 

4 frozen small Banquet cherry/berry  pies

and

1 pkg, of sliced cheese,

2 loaves of wheat bread

I carried them home in a freezer bag!

Time for some pop-caffeine

I is done for the day!!!

Whew!  That was a workout.  It's cold here too.  No walk for me today.  Two nights of 20 degree temps and I'm done with winter!🥶

You got a lot of stuff on your shopping trip today.  No veggies, but you did get pies!  That's the good stuff. 

The sun is out, but it's only 30 degrees here.

Blame it onStouffers baked chicken for not having veggies or fruit in them...!

Lean Cuisine....oops the roasted turkey breast has cinnaom apples in it so i have fruit in a few dinners!  lol

..washed a load of warm sweatshirts /sweaters and they need to be hung up to dry now  !

Then going for a walk w/neighbor...

i went for my annual physical yesterday but it involves a trek and an adventure

my doctor is my BFF doctor and so the doctor is NOWHERE close to me

i first go to BFF area sunday for lunch - had 2  steak tacos that comes w/ guac, beans, rice and sour cream - so good and free chips/salsa - not cheap but real sliced tender steak inside a hard taco shell 

then we went around to do her errands - HD for an explosive gas and carbon monoxide alarm - I never heard of explosive gas. Anyway, she looked online and found the store had 8 left. Couldnt find it on the display - looked and looked. There was another guy also looking at various alarms. Friend started looking up on the stocking shelf and was trying to read the names- I said "what is the UPC?" friend started to rattle off number - NO they all begin like that - give me last few digits and BAM - up there 2 unopened boxes on top shelf. Grabbed a floor person that was walking by and she took 2. The nearby guy customer then took one and started reading up on it. We seemed like pros - knowing exactly what we wanted - lol we were both impressed with ourselves.

Then we just yapped for a few hours and time to eat dinner w/another friend that lives in the area. She ordered takeout chinese takeout and we joined her DH for the yapfest. I havent seen her for 2 years. BFF bought a $17.00 Chco Tuxedo cake from Costco - it was very good. Cakes and desserts in general are very expensive and sometimes not very good. Good to know Costco has an option and it was pretty big since it came from Costco lol

what did i bring? i woke up and made focaccia - a large piece went to hostess, smaller piece went to BFF - 3rd piece went to neighbor and last piece was left for brother who was feeding zoe sunday night and monday morning.

oops - did i mention we were going for our physical? well, i know bloodwork is from the last 3 months but i have gained weight and the extra 5 lbs i ate that day didnt help.

left around 10pm and didnt fall asleep until 1am?? woke up at 5 GRRR

left 7:45am for our 8:40 and 9:20 appts. I have mentioned in the past that my veins were invisible and slow dripping like molasses. I ALWAYS tell the techs and they nod and smile but probably didnt believe me. There were 2 techs in the room. 4 came and went i was stil being worked on. One arm tied up - and then the other and back to the first - and slow drip and he was pressing on my arm to get the blood into the 2 vials. My friend who was waiting for me - what the heck? i saw people come in after u - came out and more went in- yeah, what else is new? We both left around 11:30 and hungry.

I wanted to go to H Mart which is a korean supermarket - lots of premade food - frozen and fresh. I got package of fresh boneless marinated pork (which i will portion and freeze) - large bag of frozen dumplings - japanese seaweed salad - stir fry noodles which can be eaten cold or warmed.

lunch - good korean restaurant with fresh pulled noodles

shared a seafood pancake and we each had a large bowl of soup

leftovers - 2 slices of pancake for me which i gave to brother and a quart of soup for lunch later - u know how much i was lugging back on the subway for 1.5 hr ride?

went to sleep 8pm and up at 4am - fed zoe at 5 and here i am

will be going swimming later
