@Bri369 : Irritating. You call the cable company and they say that the call is recorded or notes added but when ever you call back- ya have to repeat everything and then if call gets transferred- ya repeat again. On second call the tech suggested that the IPad be under the modem network instead of the eero WiFi extend system: worked a for about 3O minutes( told if WiFi drops to call back and request new modem) of course called back and this tech stated everything connected and looking good and didn't think new modem needed and of course transferred to someone else. Finally this tech agreeded and suggested trying to add another one of the eero extenders-this will be mailed to me and $5 extra added to bill each month. I complained because just received bill and effective October the internet fee increasing $5 per month. Tech suggested that since the Eero system is $10 per month for me to purchase the equipment ( home base and extender through Eero or Amazon) . I replied will research that. Earliest appointment for the new modem was 9/23/22🤷‍♀️.All of the phone calls yesterday took up a big part of my day.

Good afternoon Y'all: Busy week. Monday my friend that cleans my house put matching slip covers on my two recliners: 

Same covers and color just looks different with the lights.

Today: DH had early appointment with his pulmonary doctor. SIL drove us but used our suv and she was kind enough to let me take my standup walker. I know things happen but her folding it and putting it in the car- well the back left wheel didn't want to roll when we got to the doctors office plus the side walk was somewhat uneven- very scary. The doctors office was near my preferred durable medical equipment center and I requested that we go there when we left the doctors office. They had a new walker - it was a tad bit narrow than my current one and the four wheels were smaller. Folded a little bit smaller. Plus $56 cheaper and offered a $9 military discount- considering that insurance doesn't pay for this. My new walker: The one below on left was the old one but it was Roll Tide - Red. I regret that I didn't think fast enough to leave the old walker to be repaired.

@Bri369 : Thank you. I know that one of my friends will state: Why put a slip cover on that beautiful new chair? Well considering the price of the chair and this stage of my life: I drop and spill everything?!!

i wouldnt know u had slip covers until u told me - they look very nice

is it 1 large sheet where u tuck in all the bits?

yes - uneveness is skeery - glad the new walker will be a bit smaller and easier to handle - is ur DH doing better?

jetson - i'm sure once things quiet down - u can sit down and have a good chat 

cable companies - phooey - so quick to sell u c r ap instead of just fixing the issue espeically when it was fine a bit ago - 

and the endless waiting and waiting and u are very important to us

it was a beautiful day - got cawfee in hand and chatting and kitting was good

my friend continued to learn and improve -  made mistakes but kept trying

Just the usual.   Nothing exciting going on.  

I didn't have internet for about an hour.  That was exciting  LOL

The grass shouldn't need to be cut too many  more times.  I notice the leaves are starting to change and some are falling.

@Yahooey : The brand that I order from Amazon is very reasonable in price. The directions are written and include photos. It is one piece. On the back it has two red tabs on each side- this helps placing the back over the top first and pull down and tuck all around. You have two straps that are pulled to the back with loops that you secure on each side under the leg frame support. Then pull out the foot rest that also has to elastic straps that you pull and tie under the footrest. I can't bend over or get on the floor. It took my friend about 10 minutes to do each chair. I included an extra tip in her pay envelope and she graciously accepted it - this time.

DH is doing better but slacking off of the PT which isn't good. We have appointment with the surgeon on the 23red.

I am trying to do a check list with the cable company to make sure everything has been checked and updated.

I know that Apple will not admit something is wrong with the IPad. I really don't have the money to purchase a newer IPad right now plus the IPad is only 4 years old and purchased new. I looked at the latest generation similar to mine and of course the price is like twice what I paid.  Plus the trade in value is $50 to $75 and would also need a new cover to protect it since I am always dropping something.🤗♥️

Hi y'all: I placed delivery order with WalMart for delivery 6p.m. My order included : 1 dozen of large eggs and 1- 16 ounce bag of whole carrots. I always request no substitutions. They were out of the two items. I was just trying to replace what was needed. Also- I always use the Lipton Beefy Dry Onion soup mix in my meatloaf- only available for 3 day shipping. The box has two envelops of the mix and the price was like $20....No way. I will look for it the next time that I am in the store and hopefully purchase extra. Haven't had time to research this. Always something.
