[Yahooey]

i'm meeting the same friend that i tiried making focaccia and threw away bc of overmixing - 

this turned out well -

we are going to knit in the park - free knitting - they provide needles and yarn - wednesdays during the summer for 2 hrs 

this is the 2nd time we are going

I know we live in different states  but my 2 friends said the same thing!

I also tried downloading their website  instead of using their app  on my cell phone  and it wouldn't take my password,etc...so i uninstalled it!

She said her dh called  the banks 800 # for a hour and no one answered  and he hung up!

When they went to our bank  to return their checks ,they heard the phones ringing and no one was answering them!😡

I'm not calling or going into bank for a few days!

Customers are very unhappy  my friends tell me.

dear preds  and friends

i know that @Yahooey  needs to know

what i ate while out gadding  out and about yesterday....un small order of meat loaf,mashed taters-no gravey, baby carrots one bisquit w/blackberry jam and drank 2 glasses of Dr.Pepper.

After i got home and put up everything i called neighbor and we went for a walk. i shouldn't have   it was humid and i got very tired out.

Today..i have 10 gallons of water to carry down to basement...no hurry tho.

It's Wednesday again and yard gets mowed again for the week.

@cowboy sam : 😡  Grr! Was at bank for 1 1/2 plus hours.

Finally called in office. Then DH needed to use the bathroom. They didn't have a public bathroom. Thankfully we were only 5 minutes from the house so DH went home while they were trying to help me. The guy had to call 2 other people in the office to help him. He had to call the 800 number and was having the same issues that I had this morning. 😃😳🤷‍♀️They went over all my account info and then asked to see my cell phone to reset the password. They asked why the app wasn't installed: Me don't want bank info on my cell phone and prefer to use my IPad at home. Finally everything corrected. I said: since waiting for DH return: I have another issue with the home equity line. Since the merger- not able to make extra payment on the principal and told to come in bank instead. I said : y'all can see that I am handicapped and this is not good customer service. Of course they said: working on it. While there sitting in the lobby noticed several people complaining about customer service and width drawing money and closing their accounts. I was embarrassed but had to ask them to please help me walk back to the lobby to be seated. While waiting for DH - My hair stylist is in the same area and I texted her to see if she had any cancellations to see me earlier but no. So it is almost 2 p.m. and I will be returning to the area at 3:30. This hasn't been a good day.

Oh, what a pain in the you-know-what!  I'm sorry your bank visit was such a hassle.  It seems like the more they try to improve things, the worse everything gets!  😡😡😡

Unfortunately, it seems like this is going on everywhere now.  And I think it's going to get worse.

I hope you can get a little rest at home before you have to go to your hair appointment.  And I hope you have a better day tomorrow!🤞

Oooh--meatloaf!  I love a good meatloaf.  I can't remember the last time I had some.  I guess I could break down and make one myself.  But it will have to wait for winter, since it's still over 100 degrees here now!🥵

I don't like gravy on my taters.  Or my meatloaf.  I don't like gravy.  Except on a hot roast beef sandwich.  Oooh, that sounds good too...😂😂

for those who was wondering - what the heck was that

Focaccia w/veg stuffed into it before baking -

abstract flowers - chives as stems

tomatoes- olives -  onions are buds/flower petals

chopped olives as soil

next time will purchase yellow pepper for more color

i premeasure the container  (cat food tray) before decorating  so it cuts neatly

this was the piece given to her - 

knitting - you can use their provided yarn/needles and continue the scarf usually in garter stitch - which is just knit stitch back and forth

some bring their own personal crochet/knit project to meet up w/friends etc

my friend doesnt know how to knit - so she brought her crochet project

the completed scarves will be donated
