@SouthernBee I get FRESHKOTE Eyedrops. I have very dry eyes and also very bad allergies. These drops used to be only available by script. Now you can get them over the counter but I think hard to find. I get them from Eyevance. They are the cheapest there but they are not cheap. One only needs 1-2 drops, once a day and I'm good for the rest of the day. I think I paid $33 or so but I've had them for awhile and they have changed my life. Made my eye conditions much, much better. If you decide to get them, do not get them from Amazon. When my eyes are terrible, I also take breaks and close them for 15 seconds or so. That lubricates them but only for a short time.

DON'T LET ANYONE MAKE YOU FEEL LESS THAN THE GREAT PERSON YOU ARE!

That person's behavior is a sign of insensitivity, unhappiness, not caring and ignorance. Do what you have to do, to deal with that tech. I managed a drs office for 18 years and I have always felt that a lot of the employees can be like that. They have hard jobs and the drs want blood from their employees. BUT, there is no excuse for anyone to act like that. That tech should be let go! I had to do that, several times. If you are uncomfortable reporting her to the dr, I can easily understand that. Eventually, that person will be tagged and poof, goodbye job.

Edited: The doctor's office most likely will have samples of Freshkote. If you live near the doctor, ask him or her to give you 1 or 2. They get samples all the time. Don't be embarrassed. I always gave samples out to the patients. That's what they are there for.

If he doesn't have the Freshkote, let him give you any samples he has. That goes for any medication you need from the doctor.😘
