@Bri369 : Good Morning! Late getting started. Cold. I have my small hall pantry and this will be the last of food reorganization but still need to do two more closets, kitchen cabinets , China hutch that I have neglected for two years. DH upset with me because of the excessive garbage. Our garbage day is normally on Monday but due to the holiday not until Wednesday. Anything exciting for you?

@SouthernBee

Nothing much going on here.

Organizing is a lot of work, but it will be nice when it's all done.

@Bri369 : I hid another grocery bag of stuff in the kitchen garbage can😳😁. I need to stop and work on the income tax stuff. Purchased a bag of 100 calorie packs of popcorn  and natural almonds to snack on because doing paperwork makes me what to eat🤷‍♀️.

Hello to all Lovelies.

@loveschocolate, Congratulations on your new home!  I really love your lakeside view.  Sounds like everything will work out

beautifully.  I am sure you will be happily very busy in your new nest.

Sounds like everyone is keeping busy and staying out of trouble.  Same here.  DH’s relative starts chemo tomorrow.

We have hope always.  Our neighbor is doing well after surgery, and blessings for couple we have been neighbors for over 40 years.  All our neighbors are lovely people.

My DB retired, my little brother.  He does not live far away, but we socially distance.  We are very close emotionally, and DH is close with him also.

My grandson will be 13 on Monday, and granddaughter will be 8 in February.  My DIL’s BD was in January.  And, of course, DB retired early Jan.  I am always buying stuff for a bunch of people and stashing away.  Winston is bummed the Christmas tree is down, but he does spend time in my snuggery, which is close to done.  He spends endless time looking out the windows at all the birdies, as we have a bunch of feeders.

Wishing everyone well and hoping you all stay safe during these times.  Much anger out there.

Someone needs to do a thread on all you can learn from a cat (or a dog, for that matter).  I tell you, been seeing cats and kittens on You Tube and they are so funny.  Dogs are too, but cats, are quite funny.

@dooBdoo, I am so delighted to see you back here.  As a person of sayings, as Mr. Rogers used to say, “Look for the helpers.”  If folks are real, and honest, it’s part of the human condition to sometimes feel very bad and overwhelmed.  In your case, the right help arrived when you needed it most.

Again, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.”  My variation of eastern thought that you get what you need when you most need it.

We do live in a “buck up” culture in America, my opinion only.

That is why so many have problems with admitting sad, but no problems with anger and blaming groups of people for their problems.

You are, have always been, and will ever be a sweet and kind person with such a big heart.  The world needs more Doos, I say.  Never a hurter, always a healer.  Just remember to protect yourself, surrounding yourself with people with like spirits.  Sending you my very best wishes.

Pam

Here’s a funny for your day.  My DS, DIL, and two GC love animals, like our entire family.  They adopted a second kitty, will be getting a second dog in the spring, have tropical fish, and will be a gerbil or hamster that my little GD has been begging for.  My DS is lucky to work from home, permanently

now, and my DIL works part-time.

DIL just told me, “Well, we will never be able to go on vacation.  With all these animals, those days are over.  Oh well.”  They do have a fenced-in back yard!
