yes the finished ball is heavy - like a tennis ball but heavier maybe

I got 3 out of the 1 skein

experiment in trying to felt today

gloomy and a bit raw today and tomorrow

me gotz time on hands

I would like the pretty colors but need 100% wool 

and the only one I found at this store was off white

I could dye it myself (experimenting) but then what would happen in the dryer

Jerry Garcia tie dyed clothing? YIKES

I once placed a new red piece of clothig in the communal washer when a bunch of us went on vacation (time share facility had washer on premises) - everyone had pink clothes
