The US will also be donating our supply of AstraZeneca vaccines to other countries including India.

I have a feeling that this nightmare is only the beginning.  Like the Bible says...these are the BEGINNINGS of the birth pangs.....

I'm a realist and I think it's only going to get worse.  However, there IS something on the other side that's really good.  We just need to hold on.

Along with India, Mexico and Brazil are in dire need. It's reported India will be given what is needed to develop their own. But how long will that take.

WHO should be working globally to organize and get help from everywhere.

Along with poor reporting and health facilities, the deaths and cases are sure to be uncounted.

The horrors are beyond my comprehension.

The situation in India is horrific.

Heartless religious content. Yikes!

They don't have access to anywhere near enough vaccines. Or oxygen. It's so horrible.

It seems like there are some areas that didn't have the expected Covid mass infections early on, just experienced them a little later. It was only postponed somehow.

And that kind of delay always causes hubris. People think that because they haven't gotten horribly sick so far, they are immune or special somehow. Then, too late, they find out different. So awful!

I am glad we are helping. The people of India do not deserve this suffering.

Re: Praying for India

[ Edited ]

This is concerning to me especially when I think about how much of our pharmaceuticals come from India. I hope the situation gets better.

ETA- The concern I have is one about supply, not about contamination.

I don't understand this fear of vaccines exported by India. Are people thinking that they will be contaminated with the virus?????
