Re: Prayers (or good thoughts) for Phillip Watson today

I had no idea.  Thank you for letting us know!

My gorgeous hydrangeas that I bought from Cottage Farms on QVC years ago are showstoppers in my neighborhood and they are just beginning to bloom for this season,  I just adore those hydrangeas!!!

My thoughts and prayers will go out to Phillip as I watch them get more beautiful every day.

Re: Prayers (or good thoughts) for Phillip Watson today

This is a reminder that those who look "the picture of health" may not be.

Not sure what got him to the Dr's, but he said he had symptoms. He is 63. He looks so young, and is so full of life. Travels the country looking for new plants, AND still has clients that he takes care of, yet this happens.

His Dad passed away sometime in the fall (I think?) of last year, and it must have been sudden because he puts up pics of his family all the time and his Dad, though probably in his 80's, looked fabulous. Then gone.

I am very happy Phillip got himself to the Dr's. I don't always buy when he is on, but he has some of the funniest and interesting shows left on QVC.

I remember when he first started at QVC when he was with Spring Hill Gardening. He has been a joy to watch for years.

He is also a fabulous photographer. His pictures are breathtaking (of course he has a great camera), but he has such an eye for plant beauty, and beautiful landscapes.

Super nice guy!

Wish him a speedy recovery.

Hope heart surgery doesn't change his personality...that being a very common side effect with those who have heart surgery.

So,so,so sad to see the failing health of people...getting younger & younger.

He's probably in his early 60's.  Heart surgery?   Wow.

The type of surgery he is having can easily be from genetic causes.

I wish him all my best and a swift recovery.

I was thinking of something this past weekend while working on my flower beds, something that I've heard Phillip say on a few occasions,

"I would rather look at flowers than mulch!"

Me, too, Phillip.  Me, too!

Love and healing thoughts to you.
