Hello Everyone,

This is such a wonderful place to come in time of need - for support and prayers.

I am requesting prayers for myself. I've had chronic "D" for 2.5 years the cause of which was the administration of necessary post-op antibiotics for 3 orthopedic surgeries. I'm now just about house-bound and my 3rd gastroenterologist dismissed me as a patient last week.

In March of this year, on my way to a family funeral, we had a really hard landing in San Jose, which flared my back big time. My internist rx'd a Medrol Pack, which runs about 6 days. During 4.5 of those 6 days, I had no "D!" Amazing! So, now that I've added a fractured toe to my ailments and have been fired by my GI doc, I'm in a pickle and very depressed. DH went out Christmas shopping about an hour ago, but I can't go because of this "D."

I'm asking for prayers during my appointment with my Internist tomorrow, Monday, 1 Dec, at 2:15 (PST), as I am going to beg, yes beg, her for a 30 day course of Prednisone to quiet my gut and lessen the inflammation. Please pray for me that she will do this and that I will have a positive outcome. Thank you so much

Let's all pray for Debfla53 who has cancer, very ill, having a test tomorrow. May God in His Divine Mercy, grant healing upon her and all who ask for healing prayers.

Hello to Gloria and Everyone,

Sometimes "stuff" gets in the way of "stuff." If God intended that I get my mind off of my "D" this morning and just wait for my doctor's appointment this afternoon, He succeeded, as I woke up in the middle of the night flat on my back trying to turn over and a huge stabbing pain struck my low back. I'm not suppoed to sleep on my back, so really paid the price. Spent the morning in my recliner on a muscle relaxant and pain medication without budging. Cat napped some, then took my shower and dressed for my appointment.

Thanks to your prayers and my common sense Internist, I was prescribed a 30 day course of Prednisone, which we hope will quiet my ailing gut and cease the inflamation and "D."

Rebecca - I prayed hard for you today - hope you got the right kind of medicine for you, and praying that God takes care of all that bad stuff that gets in the way! Hope my prayers help at least a little bit.

Hi Gloria and Among Friends in Prayer,

I'd like to thank you all for your prayers regarding my request relative to my doctor's appointment yesterday begging for a 30 day course of Prednisone for my inflammed gut (to quiet the "D" as well). My Internist DID follow through with my request! I told her I had never made an appointment to "beg" anything of a physician before, so really appreciated her understanding.

Please know I really appreciate all of your prayers that turned the tide for me.

A couple of weeks ago I had asked for prayers for my friend who developed bone cancer, after being treated for lung cancer. As of today, she has been admitted to a hospice hospital, and the outcome doesn't look good! Please pray for her, thanks so much!
