Duringe Valerie's show I couldn't believe how low they could go to sell  a product by mentioning Nick Chavez. I couldn't watch the show anymore.Smiley Mad  H231559

I watched the entire presentation. I did not find it inappropriate at all. It was very respectful and just a brief mention of a dear friend of Pat's. I have found when hosts are presenting most faith based items, past loved one's are often mentioned. If it does bother you so @Bella2022 , you may want to skip these types of shows.

No need to take offense where I'm sure none was meant.

How would you take offense to Pat's comment.  She mentioned Nick's passing in reference to the fact that we sometimes find it hard to speak about so having a bracelet to pray for a lost one is helpful.  If you found it offensive then it's your issue.

Prayer beads from Valerie???  A rare venture beyond home decor, I guess.

Pat's mention of Nick was just her trying to be relatable.  It may have been low, but is pretty much par for the course.

Nothing wrong with mentioning Nick, while discussing prayer beads and the comfort they can provide for some.

Nick was well loved by those who knew him, and the wounds are still fresh. It's always better to be remembered, than forgotten.

@ValuSkr

Valerie always offers faith-based items for Christmas (nativities, angels) and in spring (Easter). I’ve seen some jewelry items also.

I went to the video of the presentation. While I'm not offended by Pat's statement, I do think she capitalized on Nick's passing to sell the product. I don't know if this was intentional on her part or not. I like to think it was just a heartfelt comment that popped out of her mouth and give Pat the benefit of the doubt that she is too nice to do this intentionally.

I watched the video and saw absolutely nothing offensive that Pat said.

It seems she mentioned Nick as his loss was on her mind as it happened such a short time ago.
