It went very well. They kept me for 1.5 hours!!!

Now the waiting starts. They did ask if they could contact my references and they asked me what I was looking for in terms of salary. Yesterday I was really excited and now I feel sick to my stomach. Trying to control my expectations, prepare for disappointment...you all know how it goes.

Yesterday was a crazy day. My realtor took me to see a property (DH and I are looking to buy a property to rent out) and when I walked in the door I knew that was it!!! Our offer has been accepted. I'm wating for the paperwork to sign off. There were 3 other offers on this condo but they were all contingent on the sale of another house. I am so excited. This property is soooo cute I would move in in a heartbeat.

Then a close relative sent me an email with a picture from Dooney & Bourke of the Happy Bag in turquoise and said isn't this cute? And I wrote back that it was but I was not in a position right now to buy another handbag. She writes back that I misunderstood her and the bag was in the mail coming to me...huh???? I'm not having a birthday, no other occasion I can think of. I didn't know what to say.

What a completely amazing day!!! I was lucky to keep my head on straight - so much to focus on all at once.
