We just received a post card from a friend of ours who was in India on business. It took forever to get here. (hes been home awhile). But what is odd is, the post card looks as though it was pried open on one entire side BETWEEN the picture and the back part where he addressed it. Another words looks like during the mailing, someone tried to tear the one side of the postcard apart to look if anything was hidden in between it. DH and I find this odd. WHAT could be hidden between this thin of a card? .Maybe its JUST a coincidence, and the card got split in mailing it so far away, but that's what it looks like to us. (being its the entire whole side)
Lastly- my DH had ordered some packages (5 of them) from ebay from a seller which happened to be overseas (SOUTH Korea). The postman would not leave them at our door. DH had to go down to the post office (5 seperate times) to personally sign for them. (and they were NOT sent TO be signed FOR per mailing). I told DH to ask at the post office why they couldn't leave the ebay stuff and why he had to go sign, but of course he just goes and doesn't ask.lol.
My guess is this is all checked since the events of 911 and how the world changed to be cautious? Yes? Has anyone has this happen when getting overseas cards, deliveries?
