Post Regarding Losing A Parent

There are several postings  on the forums suffering the loss of a parent, and for loved ones in hospice.

I just want to convey my condolences and prayers to all. Sorry the grammar isn't well done, but my feelings are sincere and heartfelt.

Re: Post Regarding Losing A Parent

Thank you @mantaraye for your thoughtful post.  My mom passed in January after a LONG decline physically and mentally.

@Cakers3  Heartjust wanted to say hi.  I am not in the "neighborhood" too often and missed seeing your posts. I hope you are well.   Missed you this past weekend posting on the baseball thread when  our beloved teams played one another.  You may no longer live in New England, but you are a Soxette!

My son graduated May of 2016, and I miss going to Boston several times a year.

Thank you - thank you I'm 1 of them who posted I just lost my beloved father last Wed nite. He died in hospice w/ me at his side. He had end of life heart failure. We just got thru the wakes and funeral. Torturous. I'm numb.

@KKlim -  so sorry, it's going to take time to heal, but it never leaves us. I experienced the loss of my parents and 3/4 of my siblings.

My deepest condolences to you.

@dmod nj  Oh Donna it's so good to see you too.  Congrats to your son!!!!

For shame-I haven't kept up with my Red Sox but I do wear several of my T's to the gym. Very brave in Ranger land. LOL

Hope things are ok for you, too.Heart

@dmod nj  I'm sorry about your mom, too.  I know you were posting briefly on Sunny's thread but I had not kept up on that thread in a while.

[ Edited ]

I lost my Mom when she was young - 47. Having gone through that tragedy when I was a teenager  made it more 'manageable' Woman Sad when my Dad passed away in 2014 at 86 years old. It teaches you to remember the happy memories - try to  keep the uplifting thoughts in the forefront rather than the heartache. Our loved ones that passed would want it that way!
