Post Office Not Doing So Well This Year With Package Deliveries

I am having way too many packages sent with 2 or 3 day deliveries taking over a week and sometimes 2 weeks to get to me.  This is not just QVC packages.  One package sent by QVC going from GA to VA is on it's 7th day and still will not be delivered today.  Anyone else having issues with USPS deliveries?

Fedex issue for me I bought a pair of shoes from Nautralizer, shipped Monday from CA to NY, original delivery date today, it is not yet  on the way to my local PO, delivery date changed to Wed. As I understand it Fedex is not delivering regular packages on Monday

Nope!

"One package sent by QVC going from GA to VA"

Have you considered the weather is hampering your delivery?  The south has been experiencing heavy rain storms=flooding.  More than likely, the USPS has many detours if your packages are arriving by way of "ground" delivery.

Today I received 2 packages that were originally scheduled to be delivered next week.  Both are items for use in my home.

I've noticed that UPS is not promptly turning over pkgs to the USPS for delivery.  They seem to be holding them until they get 3+ for one address, then they do the "we'll be in your area so we'll deliver it".  I'm sure they can tell by computer what is due to arrive so they just wait for enough to make the trip worthwhile.  They obviously get paid more if they do the complete delivery.

Waiting for a package from The Mighty A. I know a lot of you are big believers but I rarely shop there.

Bought a gift item Tue at lunchtime. Called the seller's store who promised same day shipping. He did ship it out late Tue.

USPS tracking only says "item has left Dallas on it's way to the next distribution center". That was Wednesday. No other tracking.

I finally received my Turmeric I ordered from HSN after it sat in the Post Office for 6 days about 1 1/2 hrs from me.

The Post Office said since it was shipped using their cheapest rate UPS Mail Innovations it would be the last to get delivered. He said they throw all those packages aside while they get the Priority, Express mail etc delivered first.

I guess HSN is now using Mail Innovations for shipping. Getting to be more & more like Q. I used to get my packages pretty quick from HSN but I guess it's gone down hill now.

I don't have any more packages coming.

Received one yesterday which I knew was coming buy had no idea what it was. It was a $50 Penzey's Gift Card from my SIL.

UPS is on my list and they know it.

Gave two packages to a woman down the street and didn't understand why I couldn't find them delivered.  I was instructed to "look harder."  I didn't realize that meant going on safari to locate where in the general area they may have landed.

They then lost my Duraflame heater which has never been seen again after it made the local airport.  Thank you QVC for the refund.  I put in a claim with UPS to make sure QVC got paid back by them.

BTW, still waiting on an apology for one or both...

@Laura14

My sisters daughter found packages in the bushes at the front of their house. UPS put them there but they did not know it. My sister said they had been there for 3 days. LOL!!!

I like them to put my packages in the corner between the front porch & a bench so they cannot be seen from the street.

FedEx Driver always puts it in front of the door. I guess he does not have any common sense since it's kind of hard to open a storm door that opens out when you set packages in front of it???

@Nightowlz  Oh it's taken everything in me not to go out to my employer's parking lot and make a scene.  They love to stop here during the day and swap packages among two to three trucks and I've had many the fantasy of pitching at least a spit ball or two or more in their direction.
