I just watched a recorded presentation of this fan and I am interested in purchasing it.  I also googled for other options/prices but couldn't find a clear winner or standout.  Anyone have any experience/ input regarding these fans?  TIA!

As somebody who always needs cooling, this sounds interesting.

Silly sidebar:   Seeing the thread title I clicked on it because I was curious as to this fan base for portable necks.  Smiley Very Happy

I have one and love it. there are newer models that have vents all around the side and back without the end fans. I'm thinking of getting one of those as well.

What are you trying to accomplish (solve) by buying one of these?

To stay cool while doing things in the heat, particularly outside.

Re: Portable Neck Fans

If your objective is to stay cool while working get or make a cool Dana for your neck.  Its filled with the pellets you put in soil to keep it moist and is a fabric tube with ties that you soak for the ten minutes and it lasts all day.  You tie it around your head or your neck.  Check Amazon or Big Five or Google instructions to make.  When I lived in Mojave Desert anyone who worked outside used these. Here is an example from Amazon:

I first saw one of these at the supermarket.  The checkout lady was wearing one.  I plan on getting 3 for our Disney trips.  I saw them at Target for $9.99.

I ordered this neck fan (JISULIFE) that cools all the way around.  I have long hair and the ones with the rotating fans are not recommended with long hair.
