Can you imagine the ramifications of this event.

Can I? No!

I'm sure China wants that port opened as much as we do, money makes the world go 'round.  Seems to me that they're taking a single case of the virus extremely seriously so not to infect the entire country again. One port as opposed to the entire country closing down?  Makes perfect sense, good for the Chinese.

In everyone's news? Were that true, maybe there wouldn't be so little trust in almost all media!

Can't think of a critical thing I need that I couldn't make do with used or refurbished on the bay or other sites.

statement.

That's reopening a previously closed topic and will get this thread shut down.

Add these "quoted words of yours" to my reply to your other post.

"They are taking a single case of the virus".

That "word" is where I find it almost humorous.

@millieshops I totally agree about the appliance shortage. Had to buy a new dishwasher and had to take what they had in stock, back orders for different color would take up to 6 months.

Last week we had our thermostat replaced and the AC serviced. Our AC man said if the heat stays as is this summer we will not be able to get parts or AC units. They are struggling for parts now as China is NOT SHIPPING. This was before the recent news of another port closure.

Same with auto parts and so many other basice items.
